hi everyone welcome back to our channel,i'm bimo from how to geek in this card,video i'm simply going to guide you on,how you can actually turn off the,sensitive content settings on twitter so,that you can see all of the sensitive,content on twitter app but before we get,started if you are new to our channel,make sure to leave a like and hit that,subscribe button and without any further,ado let's get started with today's video,how to turn off sensitive content,settings on twitter in this video i'm,simply going to guide you on how you can,actually turn off twitter's sensitive,content such as violence or nudity and,made see that those are some of the,filters which you want to actually dac,out and then you want to actually see,those filters so you want to simply make,sure to watch this video till the end so,what we want to do is simply make sure,first of all that we have actually,updated the twitter application to the,latest version head over to your devices,app store in the search box type in,twitter and then simply make sure the,twitter app is up to date if it does,have an update button and if you see the,update button right over there tap on it,in order to update the twitter app to,the latest version and after we've,actually updated the twitter app i'm,going to simply open and then make sure,that you are also logged into your,account so simply make sure that you are,logged into your twitter account as well,and after you are logged in you can see,this is how the home interface is going,to look like now you want to simply,hover up to the top of the screen right,over here and on the top right hand side,you will be able to see the star icon,what you want to do is simply tap on the,star icon as we tap on star icon here in,the pop-up menu that appears you have,been given two options that is to switch,to latest tweets or to view content,preferences so what we are going to do,is simply tap on the option that says,view content preferences,so as we tap on view content preferences,right over here it is going to take us,to this page where you have the option,to customize your explorer settings your,languages your safety and many other,options but what we want to do is from,top of the screen you'll find an option,called search settings under the,explorer settings so go ahead and simply,tap on the street settings button,and as you can see this is where the,filter is currently at now you can see,that the height sensitive content,feature is currently turned on which,means that if this feature is turned on,twitter is going to filter all of the,sensitive posts before actually,recommending them to your feed and in,order to turn off such type of sensitive,content or settings you want to simply,toggle this option off you can also read,there it says this prevents tweets with,potentially sensitive content from being,displayed in your search result so make,sure that it is turned off once you do,that go ahead and simply come back and,reload the app and you will have success,of sensitive content on twitter,this was the way on how you can very,easily tune off to your sensitive,content setting we hope this video was,really helpful and if it did help you,make sure to leave a like and subscribe,to the channel if you've got any more,questions queries or doubts also make,sure to leave them down in the comment,section as always thank you very much,for watching and see you soon in our,next video

hi everyone this is anson from,ansonalex.com and in this video i'm,going to show you everything that you,need to know about configuring your,privacy settings on twitter including,how to protect your tweets and how to,enable and disable sensitive content,okay so here i am on twitter and i'm,logged into an account i'm at my profile,page and to access all of the security,and privacy settings what i'm going to,do is i'm going to go to the left side,of the screen and i'm going to click on,more and you should be able to do this,on a mobile device as well you just have,to get to the twitter menu where you,have all of these different options and,we're going to go right to settings and,privacy,and here we have quite a few different,options so i'm going to go through all,of the ones that i think may be,important to you so under the your,account section right here we have just,a few things this is where we can change,our password or we could deactivate our,account,and then we can also see account,information like the phone number and,email address that's associated with our,account and you'll have to enter your,twitter password to take a look at that,information but down the list here,in the monetization section there isn't,too much for you there that's if you're,monetizing on twitter twitter blue you,don't have to worry about that security,and account access there are a few,things in here so in the security,section,this is where we can enable two-factor,authentication so if you're worried,about somebody hacking your account it's,a good idea to enable that or to also,take a look at this additional password,protection,and then if we go back here in security,this is where we can see,who's been logged into our account so we,could go to this apps and sessions,section and we can see all of the,connected apps so those are third-party,apps that we've connected to twitter so,you could go in there and you could,unconnect the ones that you're not using,sessions is where you can see all the,times that you've logged into your,twitter account so if you think,somebody's accessing it and they're not,supposed to be you could check in here,and take a look at that and that's the,same,type of idea here in account access,history and then logged in devices and,apps you have a lot of security options,in terms of seeing where your twitter,account has been logged in from let's go,back here now you can also see,any connected accounts so these are,actually accounts that you use to log,into twitter so it's a google or apple,account so that's where you can take a,look at that let's move down to the,privacy and safety section and here we,have a lot of things and the first thing,is something that you may be looking for,this is where you can protect your,tweets and ironically it's not in the,your tweets section and that might be,what's confusing a lot of people it's in,this audience and tagging section so if,we click on audience and tagging you'll,notice that we have this check box that,allows us to protect our tweets and,twitter is unlike a lot of other social,platforms where there isn't really this,option to show some tweets to only your,followers you have to pick do you want,to show your tweets to everybody or not,and so this is where you can hit this,check box to protect your tweets and,then photo tagging this is if you want,to allow other twitter users to tag you,in photos so you may want to turn that,off as well let's go back here,under your tweets there actually isn't,that much here for us,although you think there would be but,you'll notice that this is just if we,want to mark that the material that we,are tweeting is sensitive we can do that,in here and this is where we can also,determine whether or not we want,location information added to our tweets,so that's in the your tweets section,let's go back a content you see this is,where you can enable and disable the,sensitive content feature so you'll,notice that it is enabled so that on,this account i can see sensitive content,but you could disable it in here if you,wanted to and then you could also go,into the topics and interest and this is,where you can select topics to follow,and interest to follow so that you get,tweets that are customized to you on,twitter,so that's where you can change those,settings notice that in here you have,the mute and block section so this is,where you can mute other people on,twitter you can block accounts so you,don't see their tweets either they don't,see yours muted accounts will you won't,see their tweets but they can see yours,you can have muted words,here on twitter so you have a lot of,different options going back out we can,determine here in the direct messages,section who can message us directly so,we can hit the check box to allow,everybody to message us,or we can keep that unchecked,so that only people that we follow will,be able to message us,twitter has an automatic filter here to,try and filter out spam messages so you,have that option as well and

Why There's NO MORE Chinese New Year

is it problematic to call it Chinese New,Year in 2023 the debate is Raging on and,let me tell you this it's getting pretty,political yeah Andrew it is that time of,year again you're going to see the,Twitter threads you're going to see the,Reddit threads should we use the,historical American term Chinese New,Year,or should you call it country specific,names like,SEO or should we call it shogatsu from,Japan even though they stopped,celebrating in 1897 because they wanted,to align themselves with the Western,world and why is it so like hotly,debated is it even a real thing is this,even real debate or is it just the,internet being super sensitive well let,me tell you this it's an Asian debate,and I don't know how many people are,debating it but we gotta talk about it,because that's what we do on this,channel so here we have five points and,five things you need to remember about,Lunar New Year AKA Chinese New Year AKA,so many other things um but let's talk,about it and I also want to touch on,some things that like a lot of people,are not discussing right now so you know,we're gonna delve deep as you know,that's what we do so please if you're,interested by this video and accept,that it should be probably called Lunar,New Year like in terms of the most,safest American sense of calling it for,the longest time they called it Chinese,New Year because Chinese were by far the,largest population of people who,celebrated it obviously now there's a,lot more Vietnamese a lot more Koreans,in America and uh Lunar New Year it just,seems more inclusive if you're like a,white boss at work send Lunar New Year,to everybody well you know I don't,really want to offend anybody and uh you,know to be honest I don't know all their,backgrounds because they kind of all,look the same so happy Lunar New Year,happy Asian festival uh Happy red pocket,New Year,um I think that yeah that's that's the,way to go and yeah sense I do think if,you're like of the same ethnicity let's,say for example I'm Vietnamese and,speaking to another Vietnamese person I,would probably say happy thought yeah of,course yeah you could be very specific,obviously if you know you're talking to,Chinese people you could say Happy,Chinese New Year I I highly doubt that,they're going to be offended by that of,course however I always thought it was,weird when ABCs would say in full,English to me Happy Chinese New Year,though for me I'm the type of person,where it's like I'll just say shiny and,Kuala or sunning phylog but what if,Mandarin or Cantonese I don't care I'm,just gonna say one of those two they,probably they're probably gonna,understand one of those two all right so,number two point number two is that,kind of the refusal to say Chinese New,Year from some people is definitely tied,and impacted by the modern geopolitics,what I mean is that it sounds like,especially in the past five ten years,that more and more people may be trying,to disassociate themselves from anything,Chinese because Chinese also equals,Chinese government which equals a place,that they don't like you know like and,they don't approve of right yeah I mean,I do think there's some geopolitical,considerations you know the whole image,the whole vibe is all messed up right,now so definitely I think that that,would happen why don't you just call it,the CCP New Year then too well why don't,you call it the common New Year the,Koreans call it the k-pod you actually,think when it comes to the Chinese New,Year Lunar New Year disagreement it's,actually less to do I do think,geopolitics plays into a part of it but,it's more than just like Chinese things,in a weird way and to me this is even,worse on a more like personal basis it's,just that Chinese things are just viewed,as outdated oh it's just kind of like,man those are the old days man there's,some whack you mean if you call it,Chinese New Year then you are uh you're,just saying I'm gonna have a boring,unlit like not fun life that's just,maybe full of studying and some,achievements but it's just not tight you,mean a synonym for Chinese is not lit,yeah not lit to him uh hey happy not lit,New Year yeah we made a whole video,about this I I
