Is TikTok a THREAT?

- If you're a smartphone enthusiast,,you've probably heard about, big name Chinese phone manufacturers like ZTE and Huawei, being restricted from the US market.,So, it may not be terribly surprising, that a Chinese app has now come under fire as well.,I'm talking about none other than TikTok, the app best known, for poorly singing teenagers and viral dance offs.,(laughing, exclaiming),But why is TikTok, of all things,,suddenly under so much scrutiny?,Well, certain US officials have described it,as a potential national security threat.,(silly music),But how could that be?,(silly music),Well, the reason the US and some of its allies, are so concerned about Chinese technology,is the possibility that back doors, could be built into Chinese-controlled software or hardware,to allow mass spying against Western citizens and interests.,And although Huawei, for example, is a private company,,they've faced criticism in the past, for getting too much support, from China's communist government,,leading some to worry that their communication technology, could be used for shady doings.,Now, TikTok is also owned,by a private Chinese company called ByteDance,,and, like Huawei, they're not officially,an arm of the government in Beijing.,But the concerns about undue influence, from Chinese authorities remain.,For example, China forced ByteDance to shut down,a different app centered around memes and videos in 2018,,simply because it didn't like the content.,ByteDance then issued a statement in which it attempted,to appease the Chinese communist party,,and promised to hire party members, as well as increased, the number of employees working as censors.,So it looks like fears that ByteDance, might end up becoming pressured,to be a tool of the Chinese government, aren't completely unfounded.,And while it's true that US tech companies, have gotten in hot water, with the American government before over content,,not to mention the NSA surveillance revelations, that came out some years back,,Chinese lack of data protection laws,or an independent judiciary with due process guarantees,,as well as China Internet security law,,which gives the government very broad powers,to collect data from tech companies,,has raised concerns that it would be,far easier for the Chinese communist party,to get its hands on any data it wants, from ByteDance and other domestic technology firms,,even if the data itself was collected, and stored outside of China,,as ByteDance claims is the case with TikTok.,But, of course, that's a lot of speculation.,Is this actually what's going on with TikTok?,Well, so far, there's no evidence, that the Chinese government has collected data en masse, from TikTok or its users.,And even if it did, it's important to look at,what kind of information they'd be getting.,TikTok does collect IP addresses and location data,,but lots of apps do the same thing.,Instead, it's far more likely, that more valuable information,,such as financial records and physical addresses,,would come from other sources,,such as security breaches of government agencies,,as well as the Credit Bureau leaks, that we all found out about in 2017.,But another potentially huge issue with TikTok,isn't related to data collection,or the use of the app as a way to hack phones or networks.,Other huge social media platforms,,namely Facebook and Twitter,,have faced criticism for being slanted politically,,or not doing enough to control the flow,of misinformation about sensitive topics.,And there's a fear that the Chinese government,is already using TikTok to control and spin conversations, about issues that people care about,by forcing ByteDance to, well, dance to its tune.,In 2019, there was a report, that TikTok moderators were being forced,to restrict negative comments about the Chinese system,,as well as content related to the Hong Kong protests and,,unsurprisingly, about the Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989.,But, regardless of what TikTok,does or does not have the potential to become,,both the US army and Navy have banned the app,,and the State Department is said to be looking,at a nationwide prohibition.,India, which has also been,at loggerheads with China recently,,has already banned TikTok,,citing similar national security concerns.,I just wonder what will happen,if it does get banned in the US.,There's probably gonna be a lot of really upset Gen Z-ers.,But, instead of voicing their displeasure at the ballot box,,maybe they'll find a way to resurrect Vine.,I miss Vines.,I'm kidding, I don't miss Vines,,that was just in the script.,I never really got it. But I'm old.,Speaking of old, these sponsor segues never get old.,Check out Private Internet Access,,the VPN that masks your IP address, and encrypts your Internet traffic.,PIA has reliable service, with over 2,700 servers,in 47 countries, and no bandwidth caps.,They offer configurable encryption, and an Internet kill switch to keep you in control,of your connection and your privacy.,And when you combine PIA with private browsing,,yo

The above is a brief introduction to tiktok threat

Let's move on to the first section of tiktok threat

Why TikTok Is China's Threat To America

Why TikTok Is China's Threat To America

TikTok is the most downloaded app in the world. Best known for its fun, short videos ,But this fun app hides a dark secret Ok, several dark secrets,Welcome to China Uncensored. I’m Chris Chappell. You know, I’m usually not in the personal advice  ,business, but here’s a free one:  delete your TikTok account.  ,That’s because TikTok is controlled  by the Chinese Communist Party.  ,And if you use TikTok, the Chinese Communist  Party now has a ridiculous amount of data on you. ,TikTok is owned by a Chinese company  called ByteDance. . They have a  ,Chinese version of TikTok called Douyin.  It’s like TikTok, just more censored.,How much control does China have  on TikTok? I’d say about this much.,And TikTok collects a lot of data on you.,Here’s just a partial list. You may notice that includes keystrokes. ,TikTok could use that “to capture  personal user information like  ,credit card numbers and passwords, though  the company claims it doesn’t do that”,TikTok does say in its privacy  policy that it reads direct messages.,It also says it could turn over your information  to the government if there’s an “inquiry”. ,And they’re probably not just  talking about the US government.,In its privacy policy, TikTok also  says it collects “information about  ,your approximate location” and “With   ,permission...also...precise  location data (such as GPS).”,And in December, TikTok admitted that ByteDance  was using the app to track journalists’ locations.  ,Specifically, US-based journalists who  were reporting on TikTok and ByteDance.,Which is bad news because Buzzfeed got ahold  of leaked audio recordings of internal TikTok  ,meetings. And American user data has  been repeatedly accessed from China. ,In fact, “everything is seen in China.”,That shouldn’t be a surprise to users who  actually read TikTok’s privacy policy though.  ,It says right there in black and white  that “We may share all of the information  ,we collect with a parent, subsidiary, or  other affiliate of our corporate group.”,So why is China using TikTok like  this? I’ll explain after the break.,Welcome back.,TikTok’s parent company ByteDance  is under the control of the Chinese  ,Communist Party. And they’re literally  trying to control how you think.,TikTok’s CEO said last June that “ByteDance  ,engineers around the world may assist  in developing algorithms.”,And using those algorithms, TikTok censors  information that the Chinese Communist  ,Party would rather you not know. That includes “content related to  ,certain world leaders, Tiananmen Square,  Tibetan independence and Falun Gong.” ,As well as “highly controversial topics”, like China’s genocide of Uyghurs.,In 2019, TikTok was forced apologize  to a teenager for deleting her video  ,about Uyghur genocide. The video  looked like a makeup tutorial,  ,but several seconds into it she  starts talking about the genocide.  ,The video was viewed more than 1.5 million times  before *her entire account* was also blocked. ,TikTok said it was due to “human error”  and reinstated her account shortly after.,I assume they consider the human error not  banning her before her video went viral.,Now TikTok says none of its content  moderators are based in China.,However it admits that China-based “ByteDance  ,plays a role in the hiring  of key personnel at TikTok.”,In fact, according to LinkedIn, 300 of  their employees used to work for Chinese  ,state-run media—and some still do. That  includes 50 employees working with TikTok.  ,And according to former employees, China  was actively censoring content on TikTok.,“Former U.S. employees said moderators based  ,in Beijing still had the final call on  whether flagged videos were approved.”,A number of executives reportedly  left TikTok after discovering that  ,Chinese employees were mostly calling the shots.,The US government is taking action.,In December, Congress passed a bill  banning TikTok on all government devices.,Some US states have done the same.,And maybe someday the US government will  completely ban the TikTok app. Like India  ,did more than two years ago. After  Chinese soldiers killed Indian troops.,So if you’re still a user of TikTok, let us know  in the comments below why. And if you’re not,  ,let us know what you thought about this episode.,And now I’ll answer a question from a fan of the  ,show who supports us on the  crowdfunding website Patreon:,Ian Pendleton asks: “How bad would it  be for the CCP if the U.S. decided to  ,remove any and all state-owned businesses  and corporations from the New York Stock  ,Exchange regardless of whether  or not they could be audited?”,Well, Ian, last year five Chinese state-owned  companies delisted from the New York Stock  ,Exchange—because otherwise they would have  had to let US regulators audit their books.,They voluntarily delisted. Most people  never heard about it. Which is to say,  ,it did not cause the world to explode.,But there are still more than  200 Chinese companies—some of  ,which are state-owne

FCC commissioner discusses TikTok's security threat to U.S.

FCC commissioner discusses TikTok's security threat to U.S.

FBI director director Christopher Ray,told lawmakers on Capitol Hill Tuesday, that he is quote extremely concerned, about China's influence through Tick,Tock the video platform has become, extremely influential particularly among,Young Americans Tick Tock currently has, more than 200 million downloads just in,the United States here's what director,Ray said about the app this week,we do have National Security concerns at,least from the FBI's end about Tick Tock, they include the possibility that the,Chinese government could use it to,control data collection on millions of,users or control the recommendation, algorithm which could be used for, influence operations if they so chose, org to Control software on millions of,devices,uh which gives that opportunity to,potentially technically compromise, personal devices so there's a number of,concerns there, for more on this let's bring in Brendan,Carr he's a commissioner for the Federal,Communications Commission a commissioner,Carr,we just heard from uh director Ray about,Tick Tock you have called Tick Tock, digital fentanyl what is it that makes,it so Insidious, yeah these were very significant, comments coming from FBI director Ray in,fact I think this is the first extensive, public comments we've seen from an,Administration official about Tick Tock, and this comes after a couple months of,building concerns bipartisan concerns, about Tick Tock my concern comes from, the fact that a lot of people look at,this application they think as well just,a fun platform for sharing videos or,dance memes but that's just the sheep's,clothing underneath it collects,Biometrics search and browsing history, keystroke patterns and up to now we've,been told don't worry all this data is,stored in the U.S well there's a report,a couple months ago that got leaked, internal Tick Tock Communications that, said No in fact quote everything is seen, back in Beijing and so I think a lot of,the concerns that director Ray laid out,are ones that I agree with so help our, audience understand because as you say, people you look at dog videos and they, watch dancing and then it's all very, amusing what happens if their data is is,in I mean and some of them might just, say who cares if people know that I'm,watching you know Dachshunds in the, dishwasher why is this so dangerous,it's immensely popular a lot of people,do have that that attitude of well my,data's out there anyways but the reality,is is when the date on millions and, millions of Americans is getting, collected back in Beijing that's a,national security issue whether it's,Espionage blackmail and what director,Ray talked about is foreign influence, campaigns the idea not just the data, flowing back but the algorithms can be,used to influence what we see in perhaps, our political views and other views in,fact if you look at the version of tick, tock doyon that's available inside,Beijing it feeds kids their educational,Materials Science exhibits Museum, exhibits in the U.S it was just a case, where Tick Tock was accused of sending, the Blackout Challenge to a 10 year old, girl who ended up doing it in committing, suicide and so it's concerning when you,see the very different content divisive, here educational there that's being fed,and the last piece of it I'll say is as,we're sending all this data back to,Beijing what it's doing is feeding and, training and improving their AI their, artificial intelligence which can be,used against us in all sorts of contexts, and is your additional concern that, basically there is no wall between Tick,Tock and the Chinese government and that, that whatever Tick Tock may say and, whatever Regulators may try to do to,create protections for American, consumers that essentially that can get, knocked down if the Chinese government, wants to,that's right the FCC we deal with these, types of issues all the time with, entities we regulate directly like,Huawei ZTE China mobile and we look at,these companies and once these data, flows back into Beijing there's no limit,in fact there's National Security Law in,Beijing that requires entities there to,do the bidding of the CCP so that's a,real big threat and in fact there was a,congressional hearing a couple weeks ago, where a tick tock official was asked do,you share this data directly with the,Chinese government they said no that's,good they were asked to share it,directly with the CCP they said no also, good but then they were asked do the, employees that you have in Beijing are, they themselves CCP members are you, sharing it with individuals that are CCP,members and they said they didn't want,to get into the political affiliations,of their employees back in Beijing, that's very concerning that they can't,even assure us that members of the CCP,aren't accessing this sensitive private, data,so the Trump Administration tried to to,block at least I think it was news sign, ups to tick tock that didn't go anywhere, why was that remind us why that wasn't,if I can add to that question what kind,of of resistance have you seen or

TikTok Is Worse Than You Thought

TikTok Is Worse Than You Thought

it wasn't always obvious in 2018 an app, called tick tock came from nowhere back, then tic toc seemed like just another, mindless app for teens where teens and, creeps would lip-sync to insipid,drug-like songs but in a matter of weeks, something changed youtubers commentators, the media tick tock became the new gold, rush to me the app looks ugly with a,logo that didn't look quite right but i,didn't want to be out of touch and me,being curious i eventually caved and, downloaded it and just like that,i was hooked my mornings would be taken,up by 30 second videos my evening stolen,by the buffet of dopamine i couldn't put,it down the endless scoring the constant, dopamine heads i had no control i'd look, around me parties gatherings cafes, everyone was watching tick tock i'd go,online to find tick-tock reaction videos,on trending i'd be bombarded by,tick-tock hats wherever i went i'd walk, around my city to see tick-tock logos, graffiti as tick-tock dances everywhere, this was revolutionary tuk-tuk had, achieved the impossible tit-took had, taken over the world no one could escape, its secret formula instant entertainment, constant doping unlimited content, nothing could compete tick tock was, perfect, little did i know,we were walking into a buzzsaw, after hours of extensive research i fell, down a tick tock rabbit hole and the, further i went down this rabbit hole the, more horrifying things became as what,i'm telling you today has been ignored,by almost all of the media almost all of,the influences and all of the corporate, elites and at the same time governments, around the world are beginning to,understand the true scope of what's,going on so let this video be a warning,to everyone who's downloaded this, insidious app and join me as we cover, the raw and unfiltered truth behind tick, tock,a question do you never want to be bored, again do you want fame, money to not feel left out,for success to come sooner this is how,it begins through tapping into your, innate biological desires tiktok has, been able to achieve 3 billion downloads, but behind our addiction to this app is,something sinister because on the back,of your constant scrolling and chasing,of dopamine someone has transformed a,lip syncing up for teens into the, greatest cyber threat in human history,so the question is,who, well to answer this we need to go back,to 2012. back in 2012 vine was the, closest thing you'd get to tiktok and, whilst vine was kind of big most people, phoned for facebook instagram and, youtube because in this time it seemed, like silicon valley was on the verge of,something great unprecedented to the, size of change we were so caught up with, our own creations that we never gave, china a second thought but back in,beijing something was bubbling under the, surface a creature called by dance now,by dance wasn't just any old tech, startup it was a startup directed by a,man named zangie ming and it was also a,startup that was littered with chinese, officials zhang's first movement by,dance was to create a news platform, called headlines but rather than this, being any old news platform that pays, for editors and reporters fight dance, was putting their money into creating, the most powerful advanced ai technology, imaginable an ai system more advanced, than anything seen before it this was no,accident in this time the chinese, government had a strong desire to make,ai a priority in the race for global, tech dominance but why was china so,obsessed with ai why was the chinese, government so involved with working with, this unknown tech company to answer this, let's take a quick look at what bite, dancers ai technology was capable on,this new site there wouldn't be a,curated feed of editors controlling the, flow of information headlines instead, use specially made ai algorithms to,select and push the news robotically, with the company never having to hire a,single reporter or editor to test this, highly developed ai system by dance, released the out of the chinese market, and almost immediately the algorithm, worked its magic in a matter of months, headlines became extremely popular in,china with the site gaining 10 million, users in just three months there was, only one issue all content that wasn't,aligned with the government's core, socialist values would be a legal, offence which meant there would have to,be at least one editor that's why baidan, has been so fast to publish a statement, thanking the state for its supervision, making bite dance the first ever ai,generator propaganda machine it was the, embryonic site for much darker things to,come,it's 2016 and the chinese government is,inching towards technological dominance, but if they were going to overtake, silicon valley they would need to expand, their ai technology across the globe, because back in the mainland ai proved,to be an incredibly effective tool for, controlling the population, they're constantly monitored by facial, recognition cameras that are able to,instantly put a face to a name, now the chinese are also ranked, given a mark out of a poss

TikTok: Is the security threat real?

TikTok: Is the security threat real?

we're looking at tick tocks we may be,banning tick tock, okay it's happening everybody stay calm, does someone have a pen,i need to ban tic tac what is your plan, right now i'm trying to get through, you tick tock's future is uncertain and,i have urged that tick tock be closed, down in america the video sharing app,and the chinese company that introduced,it to the world are in president trump's,crosshairs,we want no security problems with china,it's got to be an american company it's,got to be american security it's got to,be owned, here and many other politicians and, experts agree, that the data tick tock collects on its, american users,is unsafe in the hands of its chinese, parent company, bite dance it is owned by a chinese, company that includes, chinese communist party members in,leadership, and it is required under chinese law to,share, user data with beijing but are these, security concerns a real threat, essentially the concern boils down to do,you want an,app installed on your phone if you, believe that that app, might ultimately be influenced by a,foreign government, that is directly competing with the u.s,economic, ticktock has been downloaded over 2,billion times across the world, for years it's been beloved by teens but,the covet 19 pandemic has helped the app, find, new older audiences as well it's really, designed for virality, not for a network of acquaintances like, facebook was in the first place and, even twitter where you kind of follow a,certain group of people, also i believe that a lot of its, popularity comes from like the culture,of creativity and self-expression that,he was able to foster, through dancing lip-syncing pranking, all sorts of stuff and its central, feature the 4u page, which uses an algorithm to curate an,endless scroll of videos, selected just for you to power it tiktok, like any other social media app, collects a certain amount of data on its, users, according to its privacy policy this, data informs ticktock's algorithms among, other things, facebook collects similar information, but where that data is physically stored, makes, all the difference it's important to,understand that all, technology companies ultimately answer,to the governments of the, countries in which they exist where, they're based and where they operate,so the same way that facebook ultimately, has to answer to the us government, congress for example can demand that, mark zuckerberg testify, the same applies in china uh except, with one major difference china is a far, less free country and there's far less, protection,of people's rights and people's personal, information from the government,so the issue isn't whether right now, tick tock is feeding information to the, chinese government,it's that they potentially could be,doing so if the government so wanted,a long time the united states just said, well goodness if we're having fun with,it or if a company can make, money off of it we're going to permit, that to happen president trump has said, enough and we're going to fix it this, isn't the first time the u.s committee,on foreign investment has gone after a,foreign-owned app like tick-tock,it's previously blocked other chinese, companies from owning grindr,a gay dating app and moneygram a money, transfer app,so tick-tock likely isn't the last, congress the president the government, really needs to create a framework for, dealing with this kind of problem going, forward, there are going to be apps that are, popular that come from places that are,not the friendliest,to the united states that's reality we,need a framework for how to deal with, those situations, not to deal with them one by one after, tens of millions of people already have

'TikTok Is A Security Threat': Josh Hawley Calls On Congress To Ban Social Media App

'TikTok Is A Security Threat': Josh Hawley Calls On Congress To Ban Social Media App

last night the Senate took the important, step,of unanimously on a bipartisan basis, passing legislation to ban tick tock on,all government devices now this has been,a long time coming Mr President I first, introduced this piece of legislation, almost three years ago but last night's,legislation is vitally important because, never has the security threat to the,American people from the Chinese,Communist Party Benmore grave, and never has the determination,on the part of the Chinese Communist, party to leverage every possible asset, every possible platform to gather, information personal information from, the American people been more serious, than it is now,the Senate will be in order,Senator please continue and that's why, last night's action by this body is so,critical let's talk about Tick Tock for,a moment the most downloaded app in the, world for the last two and three years, running, back in 2020 over 100 million Americans,100 million use tick tock and that was, over two years ago, since 2022,tick tock's average monthly users and, this year every quarter of this year has, increased by,234 percent it's incredible growth and,you can see why it's a fun app to use, here's what most Americans don't know, because Tick Tock doesn't want them to,know,is that the app runs continuously in the, background on your phone or device it,collects your keystrokes it has access,to your email access to your calendars, access to the notes and clipboard, functions of your computer or iPhone or,tablet or device,it of course tracks your geo location it,isn't it is essentially,at evidence Gathering data Gathering, machine that runs on your phone can you, turn it off can you stop it from doing, these things no you can't not if you, want to use the app and what's the, connection to Beijing only this that,Tick Tock is owned by bite dance a,Chinese company an under Chinese law, that company must must, provide all data to the Chinese,Communist party that the party wants, upon its request, and we know that there are Chinese,Communist party members in Tick Tock, leadership we know that the Chinese,Communist party has held so-called,training sessions for bite dance and,Tick Tock employees we know that this, data Americans data is available to the,Chinese Communist party to Beijing, because of tick tock and it is time we,did something to protect American users,we've been warned repeatedly by our own, intelligence agencies that Tick Tock is,a security threat heck the director of,the FBI has testified under oath that,Tick Tock poses major security risks, that's why the Pentagon the state, department the Department of Homeland,Security TSA the Navy the Army the Air,Force the Coast Guard and the Marine,Corps have all already banned the use of,tick tock on government devices the only, sensible next step is for this Congress,to act to make that ban across the board, for all federal devices now Tick Tock, has tried to get in on the ACT they, issued a statement this morning, admitting that there may be National,Security concerns with their platform, after denying it under oath by the way,for years on end before Congress but, they also begged congress not to do,anything rash like actually take action, they said oh no no no no wait wait wait, negotiate with us well I just say this, the time to wait to secure, the privacy of American citizens is long, past and the least we can do the very, first step we can take is to ban this, app and its use on federal government, devices I hope that now the house and,the Senate will act together to move, this legislation quickly to the, president's desk and we can take the, further historic step of seeing this, legislation enacted into law protecting, the privacy and the security of every, single American,it's within our reach let's act now and,get it done,Madam president I yield for

so this guy is the guy they they call, him the fcc's 5G Crusader he's a guy who,cut all of the red tape and really, pushed uh for the high-speed networks to,be built by private businesses,um he is uh he is also uh the guy who is,one of the big forces behind Telehealth,uh mainly,um mainly for veterans uh and low-income,Americans to be able to get to doctors,on their smartphones or tablets or any, other connected device uh driving down, the price and and driving up the access,to Medicine all around the country and,he also like Mike Rowe and I believe in,apprenticeships and everything else this,is a I think this guy is a real Warrior,uh for what we believe our American, truths his name is Brendan Carr he is a,commissioner with the FC DC Brendan how,are you sir, glad so good to join you really, appreciate the chance to to be with you,big fan of everything you're doing and, listen if you ever get in trouble at the,FCC if anyone files a profanity or,indecency complaint against you just, don't mention you know me it'll go home,go a lot better I know there for you, yeah dude I never talked,I know I know I know how this works, anyway I I wanted to uh talk to you, about two things let's start with Tick,Tock everybody in the tech industry, seems to be against Twitter uh I mean,it's crazy by letting people talk how, they are being accused of destroying,Free Speech it's an upside down world, but Tick Tock nobody seems to want to do,anything about this I've read your, letter I've read your reports on this,Tick Tock is extraordinarily dangerous,to Americans, can you fill in why it's a danger and,why everybody in America seems to be,focused on Twitter including the White,House and not tick tock, well it's quite amazing and you know,Tick Tock is an example of this and as,we may get into apple as well when your, product is you know For Better or Worse, immensely popular with consumers it's,amazing what you can get away with and I,think Tick Tock is a prime example it's,popular with millions and millions of,Americans including Young Americans and, they look at it and they think well, that's just a fun platform for sharing, videos and dance memes and the reality,is that's just the shape's clothing, underneath it operates as very, sophisticated surveillance technology, right in the terms of service they, reserve the right to get your Biometrics, including face prints and voice prints, assertion browsing history keystroke, patterns the list goes on from there and,for years they said don't worry this is,stored outside of Beijing not a big deal, even though our parent company is bike, dance is based in Beijing and well, that's been revealed as nothing more, than gaslighting it turns out that, according to internal Communications, quote everything is seen inside China, and that's a massive massive problem in,fact their CEO was testifying in,Congress a couple weeks to go and was, asked Point Blank do you transfer U.S,user data to employees in Beijing who,are themselves members of the CCP and,the CEO said that she declined to answer, that particular question so that's,troubling there's also a new report that, just came out that they had this,beijing-based operation that was, attempting to surveil the location of,specific Americans based on their usage,of The Tick Tock application and that's,not to mention obviously the concerns, that come from the content size where,Americans including children as young as,10 years old are being fed things like, the Blackout Challenge that's literally, convincing themselves and some have done, that and died as a result so it's a,national security threat and it's,something that parents should be worried, about as well so explain to because I've,tried to explain this to my family uh,you know my kids are like yeah right Dad,I got it what is China going to do with,my you know my face print and my,information can you explain why that's,dangerous,it really is,about it is there's a version of tick, tock, and that application shows kids science, experiments Museum exhibits educational, material and then again here in the US,it's showing kids the Blackout Challenge,so that's that's where the real danger, comes but also if you step back what's,really happening when you're using Tick,Tock every time you swipe or click or,search what you're doing is you're,feeding training and improving China's,artificial intelligence their Ai and,China has said we want to dominate the, world in AI by 2030 and they're going to,use it for authoritarian purposes for, surveillance for exporting their control,so even if you step back from your own, self and your own kids and even Tick,Tock itself the the idea that we're,sending this data and these clicks back,to Beijing is improving their Ai and, that's going to come around and bite Us,in ways that are again unrelated to tick, tock itself so we have Google doing the, same thing I mean that's why Google was,is free is uh they wanted all that, information to work on AI AI uh so,you're saying this is just a a another, version of Google if you
