The TikTok That Ended Rachel Hollis's Career

do,rachel takes fat nasty shits every, single day, just like us rachel takes fat nasty over, your ,i'm gonna read this dramatically it was, dark out and i decided to let that, gas out of my body no one was around to,be disturbed by it and it was certainly, disturbing me,as it danced along my colon but when, nothing happened i did the lean, you know what i'm talking about right, when you're concerned that your gas, might be trapped inside your butt, cheeks because the way you're sitting is,holding them together,in a vice death grip and then you lean, over to one cheek to alleviate the butt, cheek seal and then you push, again we were seated at a table,we ordered a bottle of wine i hope, you're not one of those girls who's,afraid to eat on a date, kayla rude okay so this day starts off, with um rachel going to a restaurant, says i hope you're not one of those, girls who's afraid to eat on a date and, rachel because she is so hashtag, relatable and so not like other girls, decides that she's going to eat half of,an entire pizza in front of him just to,prove to him that she's not like other, girls so when rachel eats a piece of,proof that she's not like other girls, nine years ago when rachel started her, company chic events she had an advantage,on the competition it wasn't celebrity, connections or big bank role it was her, traditional bakersfield upbringing it,was a lot more grounded than most people, she said, while other planners were chasing the, latest trend or snack trying to stay, ahead of beds rachel focused on what she, learned growing up it's a minister's,daughter in a hospitable home,i still don't like tuna canned in oil,but i've eaten it twice this week, because, all your capital t truths and must-haves,were really, only ever preferences, rachel you're rich as hell why are you, eating canned tuna if you don't want it,rachel is trying so hard to make herself, hashtag relatable rachel is trying so,hard to make herself, hashtag, what is it about me that made you think,i want to be relatable, what's up my fellow small business, supporters it's savvy your gay aunt from, the 80s and today i am here to thank you,all so much, for your patience because i know, everyone was waiting for me to put out, this video that covered everything going,on with rachel hollis this past monday, but i was like y'all i gotta break this, into two parts cause here's what, happened right,a live stream came out she revealed what, happened to the rescue dog so,i focused on that i made that i got that, video ready to go i also saw a very, problematic instagram story that she put,out and then the next day,she releases this tick tock that is a,hot, mess dude trying to cover it all,in one video and i was like,no no no no there's no way this tick, tock itself this like 30 second tick, tock, needs his own separate video so that is,what we are going to focus on today,in today's video i'm going to be,breaking down the tick tock point by,point before we go too deep into it,though i just want to let everyone know, that in the description below i have, linked a bunch of other creators who, have been calling her out on,what she's been talking about in this, tick tock specifically there's a podcast, called, check your privilege which has done a,couple of episodes on rachel hollis, before, and they always do a fantastic job on,that podcast but they have been doing, multiple live streams on instagram to,respond to this tick tock and to talk, about the best ways to move forward and, what kind of damage she's done based on,what she said in there so i will link, them in the description below and put, their links for everything, you definitely want to check out that, podcast thank you guys so much, for covering this topic i would say i,can't believe it but like i can,i can anyway i will run my funny, somewhat not safe for work introduction, don't worry it's not actually not safe, for work it's just a bunch of memes, hit you some nuts my girl comes, twice a week you know they're gonna, they're gonna lick some nuts, hold up spit in my mouth, hey everyone welcome back to my channel,or if you're new welcome to my channel, for the first time i'm savvy this is,savvy writes books on this channel we,talk about books and, business that's why we also talk about, rachel hollis because we review her, books, review her business training materials, and we talk about what a,big scam it all is so the first thing, that we're gonna do is take a look at,the tick tock, that rachel herself posted we're going,to kind of go through it piece by piece, and then we're going to take a look at,some articles that have been written, about the stuff that she's been up to,recently,we're going to look at some creators who, have reacted to this we're going to talk, about, how what she's done in this tick tock, doesn't make a lot of sense and is very, inconsistent with, her brand and kind of shows that maybe, she was just losing all of us all along, but who's really surprised about that, anyway today's video was brought to you,by my patreon supporters thank you so,much to everyo

How Rachel and Dave Hollis Destroyed Their Million Dollar Brand

How Rachel and Dave Hollis Destroyed Their Million Dollar Brand

live going live going you're live, great, okay here we go yes so here we are so,now we are on live, for this uh for this podcast and our, first uh,youtube live stream so welcome, thanks thanks for having me dave irwin, you will always be the first guest,on my i used to watch, right and it wasn't painful at all to,get here all right so um,so welcome you and i are going to spend,uh a brief amount of time though we,could probably spend hours discussing, this, the hollis brand made up of rachel, hollis and her now ex-husband,dave hollis we won't go too much into, the details of how they got there um a,lot of people are familiar with the, brand but we want to look at it from,a,marketing, social media, small business entrepreneur influencer,self-help point of view but before we,start dave, tell the listeners a little bit about, yourself, okay,my name is dave irwin i am a,marketer live in toronto clearly i'm not, from toronto originally i'm from ireland,um and i come from to marketing by way,of,um,sort of global banking that's where my,background is in so that's why uh,that's why i tend to focus on the, business side of marketing, which i love and that is the reason why, you're here today you and i met well i,mean naturally on social media and one, aspect of your talent that i grew to,appreciate you and i are we meet, frequently in a weekly twitter spaces,uh the p hashtag pr lunch hour and it's,this great, collaboration collection,of pr and communication types, who all work who all touch pr but it,seems like we all have different um,spaces in there we have you know there's,marketing there's crisis pr there's,business pr,corporate pr nonprofit pr i i love, joining in on this and what you talked, about there were two things that, intrigued me,to bring you on to this uh to this, episode is one whenever we bring up an,issue whether it's the nfl or peloton, you know whatever it is you always bring,in the business angle the analytical, business side of it which i find, valuable but then you're on this, specific podcast because, surprise you let me know, that you follow the hollis brand i,thought oh god i got to snag this guy so,just tell me briefly why a guy,in toronto, originally from ireland,is following, the hollis brand the self-help guru out,of first california and then texas,um,so it it comes from um my love of,reading i uh ferocious reader i read a,book a day but um when, rachel released girl wash her face uh,because i read so much and it was so,highly recommended you know we we saw it,on good morning america as you said um,we,i believe maybe even oprah mentioned it,at one stage it was one of those big, books that was pushed in the sort of,self-development,and self-development tends to skirt into, business books quite a bit there's a lot,of overlap there and so i picked up the, book and i read a chapter and a half and,and i,put the book down did not finish dnf'd i,had a i had,i had a very similar experience with it,i i mean just a background i've been um,an entrepreneur for a number of years, and i knew a lot of other females in the, space you know the online entrepreneur, space which naturally led me to a place, where i recognized that many of them, were christian, and they they congregate in churches and, they build around community and rachel, hollis was a name in this group and, someone sent me the rachel hall's book, and i thought oh okay i'll give it a try,and i remember i was getting a pedicure,at the time and i thought what a great, time to dive in when i'm doing a little, bit of self-care like you i think i,lasted a chapter and a half yeah it just, wasn't for me it's,it's it's a very, there's a very specific, sort of late, early 2010s um sort of like that that, early 2010s time that, that hashtag girlboss,um girl bossing it up,overlapped with instagram kind of,started to take off,and uh i think, rachel definitely jumped on that, and was able to build, both her brand and,her conference business brand um,based off of you know that viral, instagram post that uh everybody, remembers her from so let's start there, then and what we're going to what we,want to discuss today why i want to,bring you on is,so many people and so many people on,youtube and on reddit and just different, facebook groups out there, love talking about the hollis brand and,and really love watching the downfall, definitely from a shawn freud point of,view because some people truly feel, betrayed by this brand,i'm there i'm just utterly fascinated by,it because it's to me it's watching a pr,crisis,in real time,by two people who are not handled by,teams you're seeing people in their, native surroundings like how does an,average person and really they're just, like you and me when it comes to you, know dealing with uh you know with a,crisis like how do they react so i've,been fascinated from that point of view, yeah it's,i,i think with rachel she is the, most,um,we'll say public she's had the most, public meltdown for,or pr crisis let's let's let's call it a,pr crisis and not make it personal and, she's had the most

PSYCHOLOGIST REACTS TO NEW RACHEL HOLLIS TIKTOK DRAMA

PSYCHOLOGIST REACTS TO NEW RACHEL HOLLIS TIKTOK DRAMA

is yeah i think we i think we need to,applaud rachel, for she does things differently she, doesn't,she doesn't want to conform and so like,i may work as hard as rachel or maybe, more like i,i feel like i work all the time with my,family with, trying to do fitness because she, inspires me and i'm not going to have, the money that rachel has because she, thinks differently, and so i think she should be able to,because of,um it's not just working hard it's how,she works and,i think we have to um give merit to that, what you just saw was a clip from a,podcast that my wife and i did where we,were talking about all this drama, related to rachel hollis,on the podcast we were essentially, saying we get why people are frustrated, and this seems overblown let's just move,on,do people really care this much about it,i uploaded that podcast i thought no,harm no foul moving forward, and then a couple hours after i,published it we're getting all,of these comments back to us saying you, know attacking rachel but also attacking,us personally, saying that my wife and i were, privileged and i got upset with that so,i'm in there defending my wife and, defending myself and attacking people, back in the comments and i'm finding, myself just sort of like, digging my heels in and it wasn't until,my wife said, david back away it's not that important, have some perspective,so i bring that up because i want to,make the point that that's a similar, process i think,to what rachel hollis experienced i just, don't know that she sort of closed the, loop,as quickly because maybe she didn't have,as much context or a wife that said hey, david dial it in so rachel's on a live, stream, her intention is to um empower people or,to,motivate people to inspire people and, she's on there and she's talking about, the fact that she has,a housekeeper and someone goes you're,unrelatable, and instead of rachel hallis recognizing, that maybe the way she had talked about, her housekeeper,uh was unrelatable and by the way i'm,pausing on that because the way that i,heard her talk about her housekeeper, was pretty dismissive like she didn't,call the housekeeper a housekeeper she, said,i have a lady that cleans my toilets, twice a week which felt very diminishing,of,that individual and and didn't help, rachel's argument but but,to me rachel was reacted in general, very defensively and with a lot of,vitriol and anger it makes me feel like, rachel is not in a good place, very defensive so someone goes you're,not you're unrelatable, and rachel goes i want to be unrelatable,i'm unrelatable because i earned it i,get up at four o'clock in the morning i,faced public scrutiny i took a lot of,risk, and just sort of goes after the person, and then takes that, and turns it into a tick tock and posts,it right very defensive stance with no,ability to,sit back not to take a step back and, reflect like there was no one there to,say hey, rachel take a breath think about what, you're saying right she just, dug her heels in i think that process,is a consequence of someone who does, have privilege, not being able to true not wanting to,truly reflect on it,if you if you have privilege right and i,have,i i absolutely acknowledge that i have, privilege, but i don't like it when people say, david you have privilege, right because what what it feels like is,someone saying, all that you've worked hard for all that, you've earned it's a consequence of your, privilege, that's how it feels that's not what, privilege means what privilege means,is that you should or i should or in,this case rachel should, acknowledge the fact that much of what, she has accomplished, has been enabled by the fact that she,has privileges not because she has, privilege, but the the privilege enables it right,it's different than saying you got this, because you're privileged but it's,saying, because you're privileged you were able,to get it which i think there's a,significant, difference there and if rachel had, thought about it that way she had been, much, she would have been in a better position,to go whoa whoa well, you know i recognized the way that i was, talking about my housekeeper and the, recognized the way i was talking about,me working long hours, and i recognized the way that kind of,historically there's been a lot of,pushback in the way that she talks to,people that are overweight,or she talks to people that aren't,financially successful or right there's,this sort of vibe in her voice or her, tone, which is dismissive of people that, haven't been able to have, similar success to her and i think that, that dismissive tone,is because she's not acknowledging the, privilege she thinks that, everybody if they work as hard as her, would be as successful as her, which is simply not true there are a lot,of people that work much harder than her, much longer than her and they don't look, like her they don't make as much money,as her, they don't have the public spotlight, that she does they don't have the, support that she does, all those kinds of things all of those, things which are her privileg

Rachel Hollis is back with the CRINGIEST dating story ever #RachelHollis

hey i'm mac welcome back to my channel,so i hear that rachel hollis,is back um,who knew uh,although i i i went to see if where she,was back on tick tock and i didn't see,her on tick tock,so you know let's see what she has to,say, being back with rage talk, you know on her youtube channel let's,let's take a little look-see let's take,a little look-see because i,cannot resist seeing, you know i i have to find out what the, world's,most unrelatable person,is up to,let's take a look hey guys welcome to,rage talk my weekly show where i sit, here at the office, drink something and talk about random, things, today i am telling you the story,of my first second, kiss my second first kiss i,kissed someone i was so bad at it i mean, just the way that i just yelled that at,you should give you an idea of how, awkward it was,get ready for the story, how about this outfit everybody i am,living my best, retiree dream right like this is what, what's this material remember that scene,in legally blonde,oh is this low viscosity rayon,uh yes of course,as per usual rosie picked out this, outfit, obviously she's killing it i didn't know, that i needed, just a wildly printed floral, and leopard tracksuit from adidas but, apparently i do i did and here we,are taping today from, south florida no but it feels like it,i wish i would have also had like a wig, like a betty white kind of wig let's,just like, see what i'll look like in my retired, age,i'm sorry didn't something happen,i are we just not gonna, really, really really,so this is basically confirmation that, she has done, none of the work that we asked for her,to do,okay like zero percent of it,i'm guessing i'm guessing you usually, when someone comes back and like they, don't show like a process,or something or address it at all,you know usually that's not a great sign, okay, now we're we're talking about tracksuits, okay tracksuits, what what is going on,ah huh, well i i guess then i'm here,to continue applying the pressure, until she you know maybe actually learns, this, lesson, okay i have a story and, have i had enough caffeine to tell the, story properly i don't know, but here it is you guys let me just give, you a brief history,if for some reason the youtube algorithm, brought you in you don't know anything, about me in my life, let me walk you through it so last year, yeah, that that terrifies me and that's,definitely why i'm here, here i got divorced i was with my,ex-husband for 18,years 1 8 18 years that's a lot of years, and what's most interesting about that, scenario is that,he was the first person i ever went on a,date with,so literally my experience in my whole, life, leading up until this point i'm 38 years, old is one, human so i again,i've stressed this before i cannot, stress this enough, with how she presents herself to be this, person that you can take, all kinds of advice from,i don't think that someone who's only, been with one person or,i guess we're gonna hear about a second,is a great, source of information i'm not saying, that you have to be you know,um like some people or some, people that are talking right now you, know, stop um but, maybe someone with a little bit more, dating experience than one person, like how can you be how have you dated, one person and then like in the next, breath act like you're like some guru, one human one date kissed this guy, married head i hope that like she's not, saying, one human because like what are the, quantities of things that aren't humans, that's concerning to me that's concerned,um had four kids like that's my story, and then we got divorced and um,at some point and this would be a moment,to flash back jack you'll recall, kind of seems like you still have not, worked through the divorce yet,i'm not like trying to be super, judgmental about it but what i am saying,is like,it's kind of uh it was enough that you, were going around giving, marriage conferences and advice, something that you really still have not, addressed yet,you know and i wouldn't have expected, you to address it right when the divorce, happened, but i would expect you to at least, address it at some point once you've,worked through the grief to like, talk to the people who paid for the rise, together conferences, and stuff you know they paid thousands,of dollars for your marriage advice, and i would expect you to at least um,address it at some point once you've,kind of like worked through, the grieving process of your marriage, ending,is that unreasonable of me so,it and so what i'm hearing it kind of,seems like you, still have not done any processing of,the divorce yet i don't know just based,on like vocal inflection and stuff, and so i kind of but i kind of feel like,as a public figure, you kind of should be at least trying to,work through it but it just doesn't seem, like you have, because i do think that some of your, your your,at least former fan base is a little bit, deserving of an explanation, once you have worked through that, just because they paid you so much money, for your advice, and those conferences were going on,while you, knew

How Rachel Hollis DESTROYED Her Career...

How Rachel Hollis DESTROYED Her Career...

two time number one new york times,best-selling author she connects with, the, highly engaged and growing global, audience of women who treasure her, transparency and optimism, she is one of the most sought after, motivational speakers and plays host to,one of today's,top business podcasts and is a proud mom,of four who uses your platform to,empower, and embolden women around the world, right,i'm super freaking privileged but also, work my ass off to have the money to,have someone come twice a week and clean,my toilets, you're unrelatable, what is it about me that made you think,i want to be relatable, rachel hollis best-selling author, motivational speaker, became a spearhead in the motivational, speaking industry,an inspiration to women and a success, story, and then it all seemingly collapsed, after a messy, and public divorce and a lot of bad pr,it seems that rachel hollis's career has, completely, fallen off and you can now find her, books in the discount section in almost, any given walmart so what happened to,rachel hollis and,how did she destroy her career, throughout my time on youtube i've,gotten a ton of requests to cover rachel, hollis and i haven't just yet because, first off there's so many great, youtubers who have covered rachel hollis, two great creators savvy writes books, and mean cat, have been covering rachel hollis and, doing an incredible job at it but recent, events that have transpired in rachel's,career and the kind of timeline of how,it all happened, has really interested me and made me,want to kind of look into it and cover,it i think a lot of what happened to,rachel hollis really speaks to the, dangers of the self-help industry in,general, and the toxicity of motivational gurus, cleaning the toilet who likes to have, someone else be able to do that if at,all possible right,i worked my ass off to have the money to,have someone come twice a week and clean,my toilets i always forget to say this, nowadays but if you're new and this is,your first video,of mine that you're watching uh,subscribe if you wanna, and like this video if you like it right, now i'm just kind of making whatever, video i want to make but if you want to,join that journey then uh subscribe and, come along with me and uh yeah let's,get into the video,so first off if you haven't heard of who, rachel hollis,is let's uh talk about who she is and, what she's known for,i thought we'd read the about page on,rachel hollis website,so that we can know straight from her, perspective who she is,and what she's known for i'm rachel, hollis i'm a proud working mama of four, living in texas hill country just, outside of austin i worship coffee like,a deity, read books like my life depends on it,and think lacroix is one of the greatest, inventions of the last decade, how relatable i'm probably most well, known as the author of the book, girl wash your face which has sold about,4.5 million, copies in the last couple of years, bananas i know, long before i wrote all my books there, are nine total now or hosted one of the, most successful podcasts in the world or,produced, massive conferences or founded a media, company, the hollis company i was a food blogger, definitely giving me very relatable i'm,just like you, vibes i started from the ground and, worked my way to the top, kind of vibes so rachel hollis is an,american author, motivational speaker and blogger who as,most of you probably, already know really rose to fame through, her book girl wash your face,i don't know why but that book title, always just threw me off,i think that's what it was supposed to,be it was supposed to be shocking or,like what's this book, but for a while i thought it was like a,self-care,book about how to practice hygiene and i,was like that's very odd i also don't,like being told what to do so,a lot of her titles just don't fit with,me,but girl washed your face seemed to,resonate with a lot of people, and was a top best seller for a pretty, long time which is definitely an,accomplishment when you really look into, rachel hollis, and the content that she makes her, youtube videos her podcasts her,self-help books her, instagram it's really just taking,self-help as a genre and the things that, have been said and passed around for, years and years and years and then, repackaging it to a primarily women, audience and you start realizing i'm,living in a home an emotional home i,don't want you can change it no matter, who you are and no matter what you're,going through and no matter what you're,afraid of right now, real or imagined you can control your, mindset, the number one thing that i have seen as,i've gotten older that has been very, obvious to me,is that most of the people here today do,many of the things they do,because of one to five people's opinions,in their lives whether their parents, their spouse, their older sibling their neighbor, guys comparison,is the death of joy,the second that you start comparing, your life to hers your marriage to,theirs, your relationship to those people your, business to,that business the second you start t

RACHEL HOLLIS IS THE WORST | FORMER HOLLIS EMPLOYEE SPEAKS OUT AGAINST RACHEL HOLLIS

RACHEL HOLLIS IS THE WORST | FORMER HOLLIS EMPLOYEE SPEAKS OUT AGAINST RACHEL HOLLIS

rc,whose actual name is rachel but when i,hired her i said there can only be one,of us,uh so we changed literally changed her, name to rc that sounds like devil wears, prada, you're unrelatable, what is it about me that made you think,i want to be relatable, and i don't know if this is something, you can reveal or not but is it true, this is another thing i heard is it true, that the person, who was let go was a woman of color,hi everyone and welcome back to my,channel if you are new here hi my name,is blanca and i create videos revolving, around motherhood military and anti-mlm,content,if any of those topics are of any, interest to you then definitely hit the,red subscribe button as well as the, notification bell so that you're,notified anytime i post a new, video today's video i had no intentions,of filming, but yesterday a bombshell of a video, dropped and that,is from savvy writes books she, interviewed an ex-hollis employee and,let me tell you the tea was hot in that, video,i already started the conversation on my,tic toc which is blanca underscore, perdomo i will also, have it for you up in the screen it's,just been booming there with the whole, rachel hall is scandal, and i've met phenomenal people because,of it such as heather the lawyer, she also is in savvy's video which is,just amazing, kudos to you and congratulations to you, heather give her a follow she just gives,a whole different perspective about the, situation, she is a lawyer and an ex-hollis fan so,the perspective that she provides and, brings to the table,is just very interesting so definitely, give her a follow on,tick tock this employee just started, talking about like, the work culture and the whole, positivity thing that rachel hollis is,known for,or as we all call it toxic positivity, and in my case, fake positivity um she stated that, they would start off their monday, mornings i don't know if this was, regularly, but it was frequent enough that this,ex-employee stated, they would start off their monday, mornings with like a random dance party, and granted if you're celebrating some, sort of achievement,or you know just want to have a little, celebration that is totally fine but if,you're just having a random dance party,in the middle of like the day or,starting off your day like that, that just seems kind of weird and not a,lot of people, thrive in that type of environment some, people just want to be,left alone do their work and then go,home but, according to the ex-employees she stated, that,a lot of people felt pressured into, joining these dance parties it was kind,of the mentality of,wanting to be a part of the team versus, not wanting to participate, and a lot of them did feel uncomfortable, but felt forced, into doing it she also mentioned that, there was sort of like,an in crowd and it was very clicky, you could see that even in the glass, door reviews that were on the hollis, page where,a lot of them were saying that there was,a lot of nepotism,a lot of favoritism as a way to frame, someone who's a professional, yeah yeah especially if you yeah valued, them to,raise them to that level but i think, that was kind of just a testament that, because she liked her and she saw her, growing she gave her these opportunities, where she might not have had you know, even in that video she was saying i,didn't know how to build a website so i,had to learn all this stuff quickly, while a lot of people in the management, positions were either her friends,or referrals and not necessarily, qualified to do,the job or position that they were, assigned to and that's another point, that the ex-employee brings up is the, fact that,a lot of the employees were shifted, around to doing different tasks or were, assigned, different assignments that they, necessarily did not know how to do,there's actually a specific, clip in where one employee at the hollis, company stated that she started off, doing like, what was it like social media market, manager if she was just doing a bunch of,different positions and rachel would, just switch them off and like, assign her to do different things one of,them was actually to design,a website i went from a social media, coordinator to the marketing manager,to brand partnerships to honestly you, name it,um this is my favorite thing about, rachel is she's like,i have an idea and so i just grab my,paper my pen and i'm like okay,i'm ready whatever you want to do we'll,do it build a new website, all the things she's like oh no you can,do it you you know, you can build a website it's fine i'm,like great i'm gonna learn how to code,i'm gonna get with the developer and do,all the things, and she had no idea on how to do that, but somehow, rachel decided that she was the person,to build a website and do that, when she actually had people that had,the knowledge and were qualified to do,so,in my opinion that is a very inefficient, way to run your business or to run, anything because if i don't know how to,do something,i'm going to outsource that job to an,expert or to somebody that knows how to,do that job i'm no

15 Hacks That Make Life WAY Easier

15 Hacks That Make Life WAY Easier

i have,like,45 minutes before i have to leave for my,yoga class so i thought that i would do,because that's how my life works i just, fit things in where they can fit in get,in where you fit in,i hope everyone is having a fantastic, day i hope if you're listening to this,on podcasts or if you're watching it on,youtube, that,i'm going to share some kind of,information today that will be helpful,or,at the very least i always think that, when i talk about how i figured certain, things out it might encourage you even,if you don't want to do it in the same, way to just figure out what works, for you,so today,um this is a really simple idea, but, something that i think is helpful, fingers crossed i'm hoping is helpful, which is,um,15 things that make, life, easier or i should say 15 things that, make my life easier, and as i started making this list i,realized all of these were things that i,do around the house, little habits and hacks that i do that i,feel like just make it so much easier, and,as much as i think these are universal, you'll definitely hear, ideas in this mix that are helpful when, you have kids obviously have four school, age children and so a lot of the things,i do around the house to make life, easier for myself,is to,make life easier for all of us so that's,what popped into my head, and, yeah let me know if if you're watching, this on youtube where you can actually, comment let me know if you do any of,these things or maybe you have other, ideas that make the situation more, helpful but here we go these are real, things that i do every day that i've,developed over,15 years of being a mom,um,that really helped me but just bear in,mind you don't have to have kids to get, something out of this conversation, because this is just stuff at home,so,the first thing that i do that i think, makes my life so much easier,is,i preset my coffee,i realized after i made this list that i,actually have a really, kind of my whole life,it i feel like it's like i think it's,the boy scout motto is be prepared i,think that when i was making this list i,was like dang i do a lot of prep in,advance to make life easier later on i,really work hard to have my present, current version of myself, take care of my future self and i think,a lot of people have that flipped a lot,of people will sabotage their future, self for their current, pleasure or comfort you know it's like, you will, drink way too much and you're sabotaging, the person that you need to be tomorrow, right when you have a hangover you don't,feel good or,you will, you know that you committed to running, that half marathon and you know that you, were supposed to do two miles today but, you're really comfortable and like maybe,it's a little cold outside and so you, will, choose the current version of you you'll,choose her comfort over, setting yourself up so that the future, version of you is proud of what you've,done so a lot of,my life i realize is,using guard rails in like the present, moment so that the future version of me,can thrive,so a big one for that is presetting, coffee which maybe sounds silly to you,but i wake up very early i have woken up,at 5 00 a.m for the last, golly um i don't even know probably, five or ten years maybe i've done it for,a very long time so it's super normal, for me now and just as a side note, the reason that i get up that early is,because i have kids so,i wake up my littles which is the,five-year-old and the nine-year-old i,wake them up at 6 30 or actually we have,a new routine which i'll tell you about,in a minute but they get up at 6 30 and,i really want the time for my morning, routine i want time for my meditation, and prayer i want time to read and i,want time to sit quietly in my living, room and have a cup of coffee and,i just think there's something so,special, maybe i'm a nerd i really love coffee in,the morning but i think there's,something so special about waking up and,the coffee's already made but there's no,one to make the coffee for me because no,one's getting up earlier than i am so i,preset it the night before not always, but i would say like 90 of the time i,will preset it and usually i just have,it as a routine that when i'm cleaning,up dinner,i will, just right then empty out the coffee, from today and prep for tomorrow morning,so,i preset my coffee and i intentionally, when i moved into this house because i,could never figure out how to program my,coffee pot i,made sure that the coffee pot i bought, was easy to program and that sounds, really stupid maybe, but it makes me feel good every single, time because it's like good job rach, like good looking out way to take care,of yourself so number one is i preset my,coffee number two is i prep, noah's lunch, and actually my coffee but i prep noah, that's my daughter she's five so she, takes a lunch every day um two of my,kids take a lunch and two of them like,to eat at school noah is one who takes a,lunch and,i prep her lunch, when i'm cleaning up dinner so,definitely there are times where i don't,get to it and then i'll just prep

Rachel Hollis, GIRL SHUT YOUR FACE | The Most Tone-Deaf TikTok EVER

Rachel Hollis, GIRL SHUT YOUR FACE | The Most Tone-Deaf TikTok EVER

hey how girl what's up,look like i'm about to fight somebody, hey how girl what's up hey how you doing, you guys my name is margaret angel, welcome and welcome back to my channel,i'm so happy to have you here,on this channel today we are going to be,talking about miss rachel hollis, now for those of you that do not know, rachel hollis she is a,she's a best-selling author she's a,motivational speaker and she is the, senate majority huntbot so she has her, hand in a lot of bags okay the woman she, does well, she does well in in my opinion not for,the right reason so let me backtrack a,bit,so in a previous video that i found, months ago i was, given my unpopular opinions and i said, you know rachel hollis is someone that i,actually like, because i only really knew her as an,author i didn't know about anything else,i have to be honest,so when i started hearing about all, these other controversies i was like hmm, maybe i need to step back and recap what,i said but i'm gonna give it some time, experience it for myself and see if i,feel the same way everyone else does, and then i came across this tip top i'm,gonna be honest, when i first saw it i was so angry i,didn't know what to do,because it was like international, women's day and i just felt like it was, just in such poor taste, and the video was just continuously, going viral and i'm like,is she gonna say something like is she, going to do anything about this so,before i jump into my actual critiques, let's look at this video together sweet, woman who comes to my house twice a week, and, cleans she's my my house cleaner she, cleans the toilets, someone commented and said you are, privileged af,it is a privilege to have someone come, over to your house and clean for you so,that is 100 true, even if that was in poor taste that is,actually a factual statement, having someone being able to clean your, house not everyone has a luxury,i'm super freaking privileged but also,i worked my ass off to have the money to,have someone come twice a week and clean,my toilets, and i told her that and then she said, well, you're unrelatable, what is it about me that made you think,i want to be relatable, that passive aggression like can we just, talk about that for a minute, that passive aggression when she's like, what makes you think that i,the mighty rachel hollis wanted to be,relatable to you,a commoner that's literally what that is,giving 100,i want to be relatable no sis, literally the sis,i'ma leave a link down below why certain, people probably shouldn't be saying it,like that, really everything i do in my life is to,live a life, that most people can't relate to most, people won't work this hard, most people won't get up at 4am most, people won't fail, publicly again and again just to reach, the top of the mountain, literally every woman i admire in,history was unrelatable,if my life is relatable to most people,i'm doing it wrong, what do you think about that if my,life is relatable to most people then,i'm doing it wrong, hmm that pretty much debunks all the, help that you've given people because, you're saying i don't live my life to,relate to people, then why do you do these conferences, trying to connect with women, trying to connect with multi-level,marketers if you want to be so,untouchable and so,unrelatable then why dwell with people, that you think that you're above, are you saying that you use that as a,pseudo effect to your advantage, trying to make it look like you're,relatable but you're actually fake,is that it rachel like i'm genuinely, confused but let's continue see that's,not the bad part, that's actually not the bad part i wish,it was just that video but the caption,oh my god the caption harry tubman, rbg marie curie oprah winfrey amelia, earhart, frida kahlo malala yousafzai wu zeitung, happy women's history month rachel i,don't know what made you think, that you're plagiarizing overly, indulgent self-righteous ass have the, right,to compare yourself to harriet tubman, let's stop right there, let's stop right there because she did, issue out apologies,we're going to get into that later let's,talk about the comparison harriet tubman, let's go to school for a minute guys so,harriet tubman is an incredible, figure especially for black americans so,for those of you that don't know which,i'm sure is not going to be a lot of you,but for those of you that don't know she,was a slave that founded the underground, railroad system,so the underground railroad system was, basically when it would be at the wheat, hours of the night where harriet tubman, will move, slaves to the system of safe houses so,that way they can achieve freedom,i think it was around 70 or so slaves, that she was able to free, but yes harriet tubman was one of the, first, big black activists that put herself on,the line to try to achieve, freedom for slaves slaves that were, beaten slaves that were, slaves that were forced to work slaves, that obviously never got paid, slaves that were called the to their, face this is what that woman, endured and you want to tell me that a,privil
