How to Use Any GIF or Video as your TikTok Profile Picture

hey everyone this is grace from kapung,and today i'm going to show you how to,use any gif or video as your tiktok,profile picture,you can do this on your phone or your,laptop and both ios,and android devices work since the tool,we're using is completely,online so let's get into it so to use,any gif or video as your tick tock,profile picture,go to the first link in the description,below and click that,and you'll be taken to kapwing.com which,is a tool that you can use,to resize videos and then also convert,gifs to videos,since tik tok only takes video files you,can just click start editing or if,you're already signed in just click,start a new project and at this point,you can either upload your file if you,already have it,or you can paste the link to one so like,if i click to upload,i will be able to search my photo,library on my phone or you can do this,on your computer as well,or you can paste the link to like a,youtube video a twitter video,uh tiktok video if you don't already,have your gif,you can search in the images tab for,gifs and,it'll source from google images so i'm,going to do that i'm going to use a gif,as my tick tock profile,and i'm just going to search for it so,you can scroll through the options,and then choose one just by clicking on,it so i kind of like this cat with the,hamburger,i'm going to click that and then it,immediately brings it right within the,editor you can use,the purple dots to resize,the the gif or the video that you're,you're using,you want to make sure that it is a,square so if you are making a if you're,using a video,and it wasn't originally a square to,resize the canvas you can click,the outside gray part and then click,edit background and then make sure that,output size is one by one,so i want this to be perfectly in the,center and if as you can see right now,the cat is not really in the in the,center,so i'm actually going to move this,picture this gif,up a little bit and then change the,background color to black,so i moved it up so the cat and the,computer are like more in the center,and then i'm going to click the gray,part and click edit background and then,choose a black background color,there you go so now it's like perfectly,in the center,so you can also add other things to your,video or gif at this point,you can add like a text overlay just by,clicking text,you can click edit text to make,adjustments to how it looks,and you can also add overlays of like,images or other elements or shapes,but once you're happy with how your gif,or video looks and it is sized as a,square,you can just click the red export button,up at the top and even though this says,export image,it's because it's a gif right now but it,will be saved as a video file,so my gif is done loading and as you can,see it is actually a video,file and if i click play it will play,like the old jiff,did but just in a mp4 format,so to save this to your camera roll,you can click download and then,you can see that it's the file type is,dot mp4 here,click download again and it will,actually first save to your files,in the top right corner so click that,arrow and then,click the file you just saved click the,button in the bottom left corner,and then scroll up and click save video,and now this video should be in our,camera roll,so from here you can just go to,tick-tock,and then go to your profile and to,change the,profile to the video or gif that you,just used,you can click edit profile and then,change video,and you'll be able to choose a video so,i,just made this one with the gif and as,you can see,here it is for some reason even though,it does crop it to one by one,it looks kind of off-center in this,preview,but when you do save it and it's like,finalized it looks regular,if you used a video that's longer than,six seconds you'll have to choose a,six second selection from your video but,since this was a gif and it was less,than six seconds it just automatically,makes it uh six seconds long once you're,happy with it,click save and then it should appear as,your profile video,so as you can see even though in the,preview it looked off-center,in the actual version is completely in,the center so,just be aware of that you can also click,your profile photo and then,share it to other places if you want,thanks for watching this video if it was,helpful please give it a like and,subscribe to our channel for more,content creation tips,we're always looking for more video,ideas so drop us a comment with your,video ideas and we will see you in the,next one

AI we,utilize for magic avatars May generate,artifacts inaccuracies and effects and,output images it's out of our control so,please acknowledge and accept the risk,before continuing the more variations,you get the better chances for great,results you guys so let's continue now,it says upload the photos so this is the,part that's important you guys you're,going to want to get as many different,little photos as you can is making sure,that they're really good lighting it,gives you good examples and then it,gives you bad photo examples you don't,want like long distance photos you know,you don't want other dogs or other,people inside of the photo because it's,going to mess with the AI the AI is not,going to be able to get it perfect right,so once you select your 10 to 20 selfies,you guys I'm going to select see I,already got all my stuff in here I'll,show you what I took you guys this is,what I did right so you see these you,see these photos right here these as,soon as I got out of the barber shop I,decided to go ahead and take seven,photos just seven photos and then I,chose some other photos from you know,whatever,um once you do that I'm not going to,redo it again you guys so we're gonna go,ahead and we'll just select this one,we'll say done add right and so it's,going to import it right and so it says,use you have to select at least 10 at,least 10. so once you do that you guys,let's go ahead and just select 10 let's,just go into select 10 one two three,we're going to use the ones that I,already did right,110. all right so we're gonna do that so,we're gonna do this add all right so now,it's up importing the photos,and then you select your gender you say,mail and this is the part where you know,that's pretty much it now you get to,choose which one you want now I chose,100 uh for the unique avatars it's about,six dollars but I highly suggest you get,200 do the 200 because you get 20,different variations and 10 different of,10 different styles so uh that's,definitely worth it I think you should,definitely do that you guys get the 200,ones only eight dollars and it's gonna,look amazing really really amazing,um or you can just go for the for the 50,or the 100. if you want if you don't,want to spend eight dollars on it get,the hundred at least do the hundred and,so you're gonna purchase it,and then once you do that you're gonna,you know click it or whatever and then,what's gonna happen is it's gonna take,you to the screen that's gonna upload it,right it's gonna take it's gonna tell,you there's gonna take 20 minutes to,upload everything and um once the AI,generates it then it's going to come to,this little area right here right it's,going to say magic avatars and then you,have pack one pack two however many,packs that you have and um bam then you,can just look at all the photos that you,have you know just look at which ones,you think are cool you know and then you,can even save it save the photos now the,thing that's cool is that you can save,it in 4K resolution I highly suggest you,saving a 4K resolution because it looks,amazing on Instagram and other social,media platforms when you get it on 4K,this is next and actually use AI to generate,artistic looking photos from selfies,then the machine learns what your face,looks like through uploading a variety,of selfies and then when you export you,have many different photos of different,scenarios using your face these are,really cool for something like a profile,picture on different social medias today,I'm going to show you guys how to make,these artsy looking photos using this,app so let's get into it okay so firstly,I just want to give some warnings so,number one some people are having some,privacy concerns with AI generated art,for instance some people are concerned,that if you are uploading your photos to,an AI generated machine learning app,that they now have access to all the,data about your face and are able to use,that data in the future if this is a,concern for you you might want to read,through the lensa apps privacy policy,before going through with this secondly,there's concern over AI AI art and,whether or not it's plagiarism for using,real artists as inspiration and machine,learning machine learning uses images,that already exist to understand what,someone might want in a piece of art so,it's possible that it's using art from,real life artists this is up to your,morals but if you do use AI generated,art maybe consider commissioning a real,life artist to make some art for you as,well we love artists and creatives
