hey everyone today i'm going to show you,how to make the viral tick tock grinder,sandwich this sandwich was so good and i,can't wait to show you how to make it so,let's get started with the video,begin by prepping your ingredients shred,half a head of lettuce,then slice one tomato,and then after slicing the tomato slice,one,onion when you're finished place your,sliced onions in a bowl of ice water,soaking your onions in cold water will,get rid of the bitter taste,when you finish prepping your veggies,set them to the side,next we're going to make garlic butter,in a small bowl melt 4 tablespoons of,salted butter then add 1 teaspoon of,minced garlic,1 teaspoon of parsley,1 4 teaspoon of garlic powder and a half,a teaspoon of oregano mix everything,together until well combined and then,place your garlic butter to the side,next we're going to make the salad that,goes in the sandwich in a large bowl add,half a cup of mayonnaise,1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar 1,tablespoon of italian dressing,2 tablespoons of deli dressing,1 teaspoon of minced garlic 1 teaspoon,of red pepper flakes,1 teaspoon of italian seasoning a half a,teaspoon of salt and 1 4 teaspoon of,pepper,mix everything together until well,combined and then add the shredded,lettuce and sliced red onions you,prepared before and a half a cup of,banana peppers,when you're finished making your salad,set to the side,now we can begin to assemble the,sandwich,take a piece of french bread and cut it,in half,then brush the inside with garlic butter,next add your favorite slices of cheese,i'm adding provolone and harvardi,then add the sandwich meat of your,choice i'm adding turkey salami and,pepperoni,then place your sandwich into the oven,on broil until the cheese melts,once the cheese is melted take it out of,the oven and add some sliced tomatoes,season your tomatoes with salt and,pepper and then add a good amount of,your salad on top,once you've added the salad add a bit of,shredded parmesan cheese and place the,other piece of bread on top,then brush the top piece of bread with,garlic butter,sprinkle on some italian seasoning,shredded parmesan cheese and a bit of,parsley,slice the sandwich in half and you are,all finished,and this is the finished result pair,this sandwich with some chips and a cold,glass of lemonade and you are all set,this sandwich is absolutely delicious,and i totally understand why it went,viral the sandwich is juicy and,flavorful and i highly recommend giving,it a try if you haven't alright that's,it for this video thank you guys so much,for watching everything i used in this,video will be down in the description,below don't forget to like comment and,subscribe bye,you

hey y'all and welcome back to cooking,with hannah's soul and today we are,going to be tackling the viral sensation,the grinder sandwich now i don't know,why i'm just finding out about these but,they are literally everywhere on tick,tock and everybody's doing their own,little thing so i decided to give it a,try so let's jump right into it so the,first thing i did was make my bread into,garlic bread i softened some butter,added some italian seasoning red pepper,chili flakes garlic paste and parmesan,cheese,mixed it until it was well combined and,then i just evenly spread that on my,bread and popped it in the oven so it,can get toasty,while our bread is in the oven let's go,ahead and get started on the grinder,salad we're going to thinly slice and,shred some iceberg lettuce some red,onions and tomatoes and then for the,dressing i combine mayo with some red,wine vinegar and now you can use sub oil,or italian dressing or a combination of,the two i'm just going to use some olive,gardens italian dressing because it,literally goes good on anything and some,italian seasoning then toss in that,shredded lettuce the red onions and some,pepperonis or banana peppers whichever,one you call it give it a quick little,toss and then throw it in the,refrigerator so i can stay cold,once our toast is all toasty and golden,brown let's go ahead and build our,sandwich i started by placing some,provolone on the bottom and then i am,using the best turkey that you'll ever,be able to buy in the store it is by,boar's head and it is their cracked,pepper oven roasted gold turkey it is,absolutely delicious i literally eat,this by itself then i added some black,forest ham salami pepperoni and then,topped that with some prosciutto now at,this point you can use whatever deli,meats you like it is really up to your,interpretation and your taste palette,but this was really good for me once i,got done with those meats i went ahead,and topped it with a little bit more of,the provolone but i also added some,mustard cheese and then also some,parmesan cheese,tell me y'all don't remember the very,first time you went to olive garden and,they pulled this baby out i was so,amazed i said oh they got the coolest,job in the world i was so fascinated,with this gadget so it is a staple in my,home but of course you can use a regular,cheese grater to put your parmesan,cheese on top but then we're just going,to toss this back in the oven so,everything can get all ooey gooey and,melty,y'all know that look good it can,literally be eaten just like this but,let's go ahead and give it a finish so i,went ahead and added my tomatoes which i,just seasoned with a little bit of salt,and pepper then the grinder salad on the,other side now if y'all don't listen to,nothing else i tell you remember which,side is which because this little hefty,sandwich gave me a little bit of time i,had to go ahead and give it a little,flipparoo but then it was all good and,then i went ahead and just topped that,sandwich with a little bit more of that,garlic butter spread that we used to,make our garlic bread because i'm going,to top it with more parmesan cheese,because who doesn't love cheese,so that is it i hope you guys enjoyed,and if you haven't already made your own,version try this one out and let me know,what you think in the comments the full,recipe is right down in the description,box and don't forget to follow me on,instagram and tick tock or purchase one,of my cookbooks the link will also be,down below but until next time,bye y'all

going,to be tasty and we'll be doing all the,cooking I will be doing the instructing,and eating easy last time we did this it,didn't turn out so well but it actually,was pretty tasty at the end of the day,let's see how she does today,hmm not bad,so the two sandwiches we're doing today,one of the first recipes that ever went,viral on Tick Tock the one pan grilled,cheese okay did you ever see that no,it's quite I know,um,okay so what,I was about to make a joke and I was,like no it's too mean the first recipe,we're gonna make is that one pan grilled,cheese recipe,and then the second is called the,grinder sandwich the grinder sandwich is,that anything,languages and toast at home every single,day it's the only thing,she loves making them I feel like this,is her,genuine,toast for brecky but even for dalius,baon I like to make sandwiches for her,and that's actually what we're going to,use today the bread that we love in our,household which is Monday fluffy wheat,bread the reason why we love it is that,it's full of iron protein and fiber so,it's our choice for our household I've,always eaten just wheat bread dark,breads because I really prefer that and,because it carries definitely more,nutrition it's actually what's great is,so we did this last time I'm gonna sit,down and put my face mask on my eyes and,you're gonna be making the grinder,sandwich to anyone who hasn't made it,this is how you make it,grinder sandwiches were originally Subs,that were piled with various fixings and,ingredients that were hard to chew,through that toughness got translated,into grinder since that's what your,teeth have to do to get through one bite,it's basically a mix that resembles a,chopped salad or a coleslaw with a Briny,dressing enriched with cheese,we then butter our bread to seal it a,little bit before adding all the,ingredients into it,that's how you make a simple grinder,sandwich,this is how clear he gives his,instructions,just I just have to say this now,outcome it's then,you have an empty bowl that's where,you're gonna build your sauce okay one,tablespoon of mayo,into the big bowl half of the spoon,you're holding put a sharing of vinegar,garlic okay did you cut it before,grating it yeah oh that's how you're,going to cut yourself,okay just be careful,one two okay chili flakes,can you see no okay how many half a,finish,okay yeah salt,pepper,it's a brown thing yes okay I found it,two three four or five shake it,there,what are we missing is there anything,else there there should be a lemon I can,tell you is there lemon yes okay use the,lemon if you see me hi guys i'm laura vitale and on this,episode of laura in the kitchen i'm,going to show you how to make a grinder,i'm going to show you i'm going to show,you how to make my version of a grinder,sandwich it is so popular on the,interwebs right now i've gotten so many,dms from you,it's like,feta pasta gate of 2021 this is what's,happening this year it's all about the,grinder and it's all about the cowboy,caviar which i will show you in a,different episode,but these are seriously good absolutely,divine is it something special that you,feel like you've never seen before no is,my version divine,yes let's get started first things first,you need some sub rules,i'm gonna do a few things differently,one of them is we gotta make some really,good cheesy garlic bread,because that's delicious and it's gonna,be your base and it's gotta be golden,brown it's gotta be delicious the oven,is preheated to 375. in here what i have,is a little bit of olive oil with some,grated garlic to it you add some italian,seasoning a little bit of oregano,whichever one you have and a little hot,pepper flake,and you're gonna just take that with a,pastry brush and you're just gonna brush,it,on both sides of your roll it's going to,look like it doesn't do much but trust,me when i tell you this is going to seal,in,such wonderful phenomenal flavor i need,more oil i don't know why i didn't add,more oil because i added quite a bit of,garlic but,it's going to give you a wonderful,crunchy base,that it makes such a difference such a,difference if we're going to make a,sandwich if we're going to make anything,we're going to make it the best,you know what i'm saying because just,how i do,it's how i roll,take some parmesan this is some pecorino,sometimes when you buy the pre-grated,stuff which i never buy pre-grated parm,but i do like freshly grated pecorino,it can clump up a little bit so just,break it apart with your hands,like so like that,really lovely,nutty deeply nutty,strong cheese if you don't like pecorino,you can absolutely go ahead and just use,palm into a hot oven i don't know 10,minutes until it looks until my father,until,papa style says until they look good you,know until they look good i don't know,how long i don't know about,until it looks good you know it looks,good so we have that down now we're,gonna make,the dressing for the lettuce and the,pepperoncini and the onion and the,tomato and everything and it does start,with some mayo we're gonna do a little,bit of mayo then we do,a shot or so,of red wine vinegar,i like a little,juice of pepperoncino,a little pinch,salt,grinding of black pepper,beautiful and then i'm going to grate,some garlic in here because you know why,i can i forgot my grater over there,yes,flavor on flavor on flavor on flavor,it's what i like that's what i'm about,a little pecorino,because why not,stir that around,smush down,any big chunks of cheese now you can go,as heavy or as light,oh my gosh,that is,delicious,a little bit sharp,not too sharp a little sharp you can go,as heavy or as light,on your,dressing okay,i don't do too heavy because then,everything loses texture okay i'm gonna,use some iceberg and finally shredded,you can also use romaine i don't like a,mixed green for this i don't like an,arugula for this i'm strictly a romaine,or iceberg kind of a gal simply because,it has good texture,okay really good texture,i'm gonna add just a little bit more,because i do like to,pile it,quite high,with,my lettuce i'm only doing,two sandwiches,per person,no no no,two sandwiches tonight one per person,i'm doing one for my sister minus the,salad portion because you know,the girl is just not a fan,of something green okay i try but she's,just like absolutely not,so i,this is what it is i'm gonna thinly,slice a half of an onion,half moon,very thinly slice,and add it right to the lettuce,all right,bread out of the oven that's exactly,what i wanted to look like and as you,can tell i took the tops and i removed,them from the baking sheet because this,has to go back into the oven,with my salumi on there and i don't want,to put the tops back on there because,i'll get too too cooked so i'm just,going to do the bottom layer this,however your heart desires,i like to do a little pro shoot don't,actually you know what you should do is,take some of the provolone and do like a,thin layer at the bottom you know i,apologize for my provolone and not being,so picture perfect but do you ever get,provolone at the deli because you know,and i don't mean to point but you know,i'm excited i'm italian it's what i do,you know that the promo on the shop,provolone at the deli is far superior,than the provolone that you get that's,pre-packaged however,there's a downside to it,it always falls apart when i took take,it out of the container like out of the,wrapping that they put it in it always,falls apart and it drives me crazy but,you know it's a price to pay for a,superior shot half,a tablespoon of red vinegar already the,red wine vinegar let me just put mine in,you know,what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna do hot,cook and that's tasty okay me too kinda,uh but i'm trying to follow the,instructions and then add as i go along,so half a teaspoon of salt,i'm not gonna be able to get the salt in,there so,that's fine that's about right,okay we'll taste as we go along,then we need,half a meal i'm sorry we need a teaspoon,of oregano,i like that oregano,this is a teaspoon,i don't like oregano as much,i think that's good,for me we're gonna figure it out though,then we need a teaspoon of italian,seasoning which is right here go ahead,you've been going first so,i'm looking at my baby to figure out,dude teaspoon boom,then you need some red pepper flakes,half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes,you know i like my stuff spicy so i,ain't paying attention to know how all,right,there we go i'm gonna do half of what,tasha did yeah,then,oh uh it does say garlic paste but we're,not gonna use that um so you put a third,of a cup of the peppers oh yeah,throw some italian dressing in we're,gonna throw some italian dressing we're,gonna put about,see how much stephanie puts put about,she put about,a third of a cup or a fourth of a cup,two squishes there that was two squishes,in the squirrel okay we got that,and then uh throw your yellow peppers in,oh right now okay i hey guys what's up i hope everybody's,doing absolutely amazing because today,on cooking with tammy we are going to be,making a grinder sandwich let me tell,you guys this is not just any sandwich,to be honest my son is who put me onto,this tick tock trend i didn't even know,it was trending your girl tries to be as,authentic and original as possible but,after i've seen that video i was like,you know what let's get it so all of,that being said let's get to cooking,first one up is our bacon and i chose to,make my bacon in the oven however if you,want to pop it on the stove top and fry,it on up in a skillet you can definitely,do that,when it comes to our cheeses guys i'm,going to be rocking out with pepper jack,cheese along with mozzarella cheese,colby jack and last but not least some,provolone cheese and for our meats we're,going to be using turkey deli slices,along with hard salami and pastrami we,also have our mayo banana peppers,pickles lettuce red onions tomatoes salt,pepper italian seasoning chili flakes,dried oregano and italian dressing,of course we can't forget about this,bread right here when i tell you this,thing is about 12 inches long and six,inches across this bread right here,nothing to mess with and guess what it's,only a dollar at walmart so all of that,being said guys let's get to cooking,first thing we're gonna do is cut one,into our bread and of course i'm gonna,use the serrated knife for this job,definitely use a bread knife or a,serrated knife it will get the job done,so much easier trust me and make sure,it's a long serrated knife as well,because as you can see i have to go over,like many times,and make my way to the back to even cut,into this bread simply because like i,said it's about six inches across,so yeah,bread is nice and soft so that's,definitely a good thing depending on the,type of loaf that you decide to use if,you have a long serrated knife that,would definitely be helpful,let's close it on back and we are gonna,make our grinder salad,first thing we're gonna do is we're,gonna add some room temperature butter,to a bowl along with our finely chopped,or finely minced garlic and we're also,going to hit it off with some italian,seasoning,along with our dried oregano,and some red chili flakes now here's the,thing guys if you're not into heat,don't add the chili flakes all right but,for the purpose of this video we're,going to add the chili flakes once we're,done we're going to get in there we're,going to mix it on up make sure all of,that fragrant garlic is intertwined with,the butter,once we're done we're going to spread it,onto the bread just like this,make sure every little nook and cranny,every little crevice is covered with our,delicious garlic herb infused butter,i'm gonna lay down our cheeses like i,said any preference the world is your,oyster all right add whatever cheese you,prefer to add if you want to add let's,see cheddar or maybe provolone or maybe,even gouda add whatever you prefer,so far as you can see i've added the,colby jack cheese,and i'm also going to add the pepper,jack cheese as well,take your time as they say build a beer,build a burger this is build a sandwich,all right,once we're finished we're gonna add some,mozzarella of course,and last but not least some provolone,cheese yes we are,now that we're done we're going to layer,our pastrami onto the other side of the,loaf,add a lot of meat,to be fully transparent this is low,sodium,meat that i'm adding because of course,you know the cheeses could be salty so,when you step on up to that deli
