How To Export High Quality TIK TOK Videos in Premiere Pro CC
- Hey, guys, my name is Matt Johnson,,and today I wanted to show you,how to export high-quality TikTok videos, using Adobe Premiere Pro,
but to save you time,,if you don't want to watch
me ramble through this, entire tutorial, you can click the link, down in the video
description to download my,TikTok Export presets,
completely for free,,to save you time and get
you exporting immediately.,Alternatively, if you want to watch my,entire exporting process,
keep watching this video.,Let's just right into Adobe Premiere.,Welcome to Premiere Pro,
I've already imported some, footage here, it's a time lapse,,and the first thing that
you're gonna notice is, Matt,,this time lapse is horizontal,
TikTok is vertical.,Yes, we'll be modifying this video,to fit the vertical TikTok format.,Let's start by creating a new sequence,by pressing Control, N on PC,,or Command, N if you're on a Mac,,to bring up the New Sequence dialogue box.,Going through Sequence Presets,
go to Digital SLR 1080p,,DSLR 1080p24, and then
click Settings at the top.,All of these settings are good,,the only thing that we need
to change is the Frame Size.,We're gonna change the
Horizontal Frame Size to 1080,,and the Vertical Frame Size to 1920.,Now, let's go down and click Save Presets,,so we don't have to
make this preset again.,Alternatively, you could download my,TikTok Export Presets, linked
down in the description.,Let's title this preset
TikTok 1080x1920 23.976.,So, that way we know the
resolution and the frame rate.,Click Okay to save this as a preset,,and with the preset
selected, let's go down here,to Sequence Name, and let's name this,TikTok Timelapse, hit Okay.,Next, I'm gonna go up here and select my,time lapse video clip, and
drag it down to the timeline.,Whenever the Clip
Mismatch Warning comes up,,I'm gonna click Keep existing settings.,And oh, look at that, suddenly we,got a vertical video over here.,This time lapse does not
fit the frame though,,so I'm gonna go down here
and click on the video clip.,Then I'm gonna go up here
to the Effect Controls tab,,and under Scale, I'm gonna
click and drag to the right,,and that's gonna make
the video clip bigger.,That looks good for scaling,
remember, your main goal,is that you do not want any black bars,on the top or bottom of your video clip.,To reframe your horizontal video,,you can go up here to Position,,and where it says 540, you
can click and drag left,,and that's gonna pan things left.,Drag right, pan things right.,Let's now say that I'm
done editing this video,,and I'm ready to export it.,I'm gonna go to the
start of the video clip,,and I'm gonna press I to set
my endpoint for the video,,where Premiere knows
where to start exporting.,Then I'm gonna drag over here,to the last part of the video clip,,or you can press Down to
go directly to the end,,and I'm gonna press O to set the outpoint.,Next, press Control, M if you're on PC,,or Command, M if you're on Mac,,to bring up the Exports
Settings dialogue box.,For Format, you're gonna want,to make sure that you've selected H.264.,For Preset, you could
literally select anything, because we're gonna customize it all,,but if you have it available,,click Match Source, High bitrate.,Next, click on Output Name,
and this is where you're,gonna save your rendered video file.,So, make sure that you put this,in a place where you can get to it,because you're gonna need to know where, your video file is later.,In this case, I'm gonna
call it TikTok Timelapse,,and click Save here in the Renders folder.,Next, make sure that Export Video, and Export Audio are checked,,and let's go down here to the Video tab.,Under Basic Video Settings,,you're gonna want to make sure that your, width is 1080, and your height is 1920.,If it is not that, you can
click this little checkbox here,,and then you can begin to make changes,to the Width and the Height.,But because this is already done,,I click this checkbox, and
it's already locked in.,For Frame Rate, you want
23.976, click this checkbox,if you need to change that.,Field Order, Progressive,
Aspect, Square Pixels.,NTSC, make sure that Render
at Maximum Depth is checked.,This is gonna result in a
higher-quality video for you.,Moving on down to Encoding Settings,,for Performance, Software
Encoding is fine.,If you have hardware encoding,,it may be a little bit faster.,For Profile, make sure it's set to Main,,and for Level, make sure it's set to 4.1.,Rolling on down here,,you do not need to worry
about any of these settings, until we get down to Bitrate Settings.,These settings right here are one,of the most important parts
of the exporting process.,They're going to have a major impact,on the quality of your video.,Click the Bitrate Encoding dropdown,,and you're gonna see
you have a few options.,Either VBR or CBR, VBR
stands for variable bitrate.,Think of the bitrate as
the quality of your video.,The computer is pretty good at
guessing how high the bitrate, needs to be to make sure
the video looks good.,But sometimes it isn't perfect,,so
Let's move on to the first section of tiktok aspect ratio
How To RESIZE and EXPORT Videos For TikTok (Premiere Pro Tutorial)
How To RESIZE and EXPORT Videos For TikTok (Premiere Pro Tutorial)
in this video i'm going to be showing, you how to export videos for tik tok so,as you guys know tik tok plays vertical, videos and you can easily film and post, them from your phone but if you are, working within premiere pro there's,specific settings that we're going to be,going over in this video alright so the, first step is to just locate some, footage i am going to go ahead and drag,in,a video and if you are shooting these, videos you know professionally they will, look you know horizontal so we can go,ahead and drag in a horizontal video, and it can be kind of confusing because,if we exported this video, for, tick tock as is,it wouldn't take up the full screen, right it wouldn't look good all right so,the first thing we want to do is we want,to change our sequence settings so that, they match tick tocks so you're going to,come up to the top left where it says, sequence on the menu bar and we're going,to click on sequence settings now if you, don't see sequence settings, just go ahead and click it within your, timeline okay because if we're clicked, within our project for example and we,come up to sequence we won't be able to,click sequence settings because premiere, doesn't know,um what we want to change we need to,make sure that we click within our, timeline so that we can tell premiere yo,we're trying to change the settings, within premiere all right within this, timeline so then we'll see the sequence, settings option, and what we want to do,is we want to change the the frame rate,to whatever your video is let's say 24,and then the frame size we want to flip,so right now it's 1920 by 1080. we want,to make that 1080 by 1920. okay the, square pixels we can set at one we don't,need to worry about anything else let's,go ahead and press ok,you will get this notification um that, says you know we have previous uh,previews et cetera et cetera yada yada,um go ahead and press ok all right so as,you guys can see now our actual video, has become, horizontal right so we're looking it's,looking promising this is exactly what,we want for tick-tock and now what you,can do if you haven't already edited the, video,is you can come in and you can change, each specific, frame,or clip in your project to fit full, screen within tik-tok okay so for, example i could, boost this clip up,so that the size of this underwater guy,you know fits perfectly for tick-tock,one thing to note is tick-tock does have, different space bars so usually the, bottom eighth of the video,is taken up by the title and other, things there are some emoji icons on the, right now all of that might change, depending on tick tock's ui,right, but for the most part the top,you know portion of the video is clean i,have actually seen some good results on,tick tock, you know hundreds of thousands of views, from posting videos that have black bars,on the top and bottom, you would think that that wouldn't work,as well, but testing it out worked really well, for a lot of clients that i've worked, with okay so we can change the position,of each individual clip if you're,working with an already exported video, like this one that i just dragged in,that has all these different edits in,there well what you can do is you,it's a little bit tedious but you can, come you know within the video, and recreate those edits so we have a,shot here for example that's going to be,different than the shot before it,right like one of these and we can come, grab our razor tool and clip each, individual section so we want to make a,clip right there for example, and then we can change the size of each, one of these clips and position of each, one of these clips so that they, perfectly fit, right within our, timeline so this one's going to look a,little bit different the position is,going to be a little bit different and, then when we play that back, well we're going to be able to see you, know the entire video um and it's going,to play perfectly with our dimensions, all right so let's say we just wanted to,export this little clip all right this, little swim clip,um you know for ourselves or for a,client, well,we can go ahead and you know chop, whatever section we want to export, and we can delete everything else in our, timeline,if you would like to,but the key thing is once you have your, section of video that you want to export, for tick tock again that should be,ideally less than 38 seconds but it can,be up to a minute for tick tock seen, best results in that 38 second range,we want to highlight, our total clip all right by pressing i,on the first frame and o on the last, frame,or,pressing x and if you press x it will, bring up these, these, cursors and your job is to select what, portion of your video you want to fully, export, and once we've done that we're going to,come up to,file,we're going to come down to export and, click on media or you can press ctrl m,and it will pop up this, export, window okay now this is the important, aspect of exporting videos for tick tock, okay,we want to make sure that our video is,now horizontal i mean vertical it was, horizo

How to Create Vertical Videos with iMovie, Keynote, QuickTime for Mac
How to Create Vertical Videos with iMovie, Keynote, QuickTime for Mac
hey it's Mike and in this video I'm,going to show you how to edit great, quality vertical videos for your social, media channels using iMovie keynote and,QuickTime Player for the Mac if you want,to make a bigger impact with your social, media videos you should really be,considering making your videos more, native to the social media platforms, that you're uploading them to so for, example if you want to stand out on,mobile first social media platforms like,Instagram stories IG TV snapchat tik-tok,or byte then you should really consider, creating vertical or portrait videos, with a 9 by 16 aspect ratio vertical, videos just make better use of the space,on those platforms now recording, vertical video is easy enough using just, your smartphone but what do you do when,it comes to editing well there are a,number of mobile apps for editing, vertical video you can even use pro, level editing software like Adobe,Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro 10 but in,this video I'm going to show you how to,create great quality vertical videos for, your social media using just iMovie, keynote and QuickTime Player free, applications that come with every Mac at,least at the time of this recording, let's jump in okay we're gonna start the, vertical video editing process on my Mac,here in iMovie now I'm running Mac OS,Catalina ten point fifteen point two and,iMovie ten point one point fourteen for, your reference and as you can see here,in the media browser I have a few video, clips I recorded these clips with my,iPhone in portrait orientation now if,you're wondering how I got these clips, into iMovie on my Mac I just airdrop, them from my iPhone onto my Mac and then, just drag and drop them into iMovie, alright to start editing I'm going to,drag this first clip here into the, timeline now looking at the preview, window you can see my video is there and,it's got the vertical orientation but,the orientation of my iMovie project the, preview window here is still landscape,or horizontal, which creates all this empty black space,in the frame these black bars around the, content now this is happening because,iMovie projects are locked to a,landscape or horizontal orientation you, can't change the dimensions of your,iMovie project like you can in Premiere,Pro or Final Cut Pro 10 so if the iMovie, project is locked into this horizontal,or landscape orientation how are we,going to make our final video vertical, for social media, well I'll show you how but before I get,to that step I'm gonna edit together my,video in the timeline here so I'm gonna, pause this screen recording and come, back when I'm done, alright I'm back and I've edited, together my video clips and I've added, some music as well let's just have a,quick look and a listen to this do you, want to make a bigger impact with the, videos that you're uploading to social, media, well consider making those videos more, native to the social media platforms, that you're uploading to do you want, your video to stand out on mobile first, platforms like Instagram stories IG TV,snapchat byte or tick tock well to,maximize the video experience on those, platforms you should be creating, vertical or portrait video with a 9 by,16 aspect ratio so I'm going to show you,how to do that I'm going to show you how,to take the vertical video that you've,shot with your smartphone and turn it,into a high quality edited vertical, video masterpiece using free software, that comes with every Mac let's jump in,alright I'm happy with this edit but I'd,like to add a couple of things I want to,add a lower third graphic to identify me,near the beginning of the video and I'd,also like to add a graphic over here, where I'm talking about the different, social media platforms that use vertical, video so to create both of those, graphics I'm going to jump over to Apple, keynote, okay so here we are in keynote, this is keynote nine point two point one,and to create the graphics for my,vertical video I'm going to create a new, project by going to the top menu and, selecting file new when it take the, default selection of wide orientation, with the black theme we're gonna change, this in a moment so I'll just go down, and select choose and our blank project, opens up I'm just gonna reduce the size,of the view by going up to the zoom, controls here and adjusting the view so,I can see my slide better and I'll just, get rid of this default text by,selecting on it and hitting the Delete, key alright the next thing I'm going to,do is change the orientation of my,keynote project from landscape or,horizontal to vertical so I'll just go,up to the top right menu of the keynote, interface and select document then I'll,go down to these slide size and from the, drop down menu I'll select custom slide, size and I get this dialog up here at,the top where I can change the, resolution of my project and my slides,so right now it's set to 1920 by 1080,which gives us the familiar landscape, orientation I'm going to reverse these, numbers, and then just hit okay and now my,project and slides are portrait or,verti

How to crop videos for INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK & TIKTOK in Premiere Pro
How to crop videos for INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK & TIKTOK in Premiere Pro
today we are going to be going over, aspect ratio sizes and how to crop, your horizontal videos vertically so,that they fit all over your social media, accounts,we are going to be making some presets,to make your life easier, and before we get into all that don't,forget to hit the subscribe button got a,lot of video tutorials coming out, just for you so let's start with a quick, explanation,on what aspect ratio sizes is aspect, ratio sizes,is width times height and you might be,already familiar with,4k or hd for social media there are, three vertical formats that you're gonna, need to get to know, one is the one times one which is more, common, for facebook or you could also use it,for instagram for your feed, but i always prefer to use the four, times five on the instagram feed because,it takes up more space on the phone,so it's easier for people to see and, then there is the nine times,16 which is going to be your stories, your reels, and your tick tocks if you want to grab,a screenshot of this so that you have, these ratios, with you then go ahead all right now for,the fun part okay so this past summer i,spent it,living in a van and when i came home i,put together a little quick video,um showing off my van and the places we,were because now we are selling the van,and i wanted to make a little video, because that's what i do for a living so,might as well make video for myself, all right let's take a quick look at the, video signal lost,so the first thing you're going to want,to do before you start, changing anything on your video is,you're going to want to go through, all of your clips and nest any that have, effects on them, like for example if you put warp, stabilizer,on some of your videos and if you drag, them over and put them onto a new, sequence,it's going to mess up the warp, stabilizer and then, you're going to have to go through and, analyze all them so if you've done some, scaling in,or if you put some effects on or if you, warp stabilized or if anything like this, where you've put in,work you're going to want to nest those, clips it's going to embed, those effects onto that clip and then, when you change it into a new sequence,it's not going to affect it at all,so basically to nest you're going to,want to,right-click let's just say that there, were some effects on it here that's just, colored but let's just say i put warp, stabilizer maybe i've done a,scale in or something you're going to go,net sorry, you're going to go right click you're,going to go nest, and then you're gonna press okay and now,you can see that it's nested, and truth be told i've already nested, quite a few of these clips, because i've already filmed this video, and i didn't like it so now i'm,refilming it,truth be told i'm not perfect, anyways now that we have nested, everything and you're,happy with that what we're gonna do is,we're gonna go,file new sequence or control n,we're gonna go over to settings and we,are going to do everything over here, now for timeline basically we're going,to put it at,29 frames per second because instagram, tick tock they all work off,29 frames per second so even if you shot,in,24 you're gonna export your sequence at,29,because then premiere will be doing the, compressing and, instagram won't be doing as much, compressing instagram and tick tock all, these apps they don't do a great job,at keeping the quality when they start, compressing it so,we want premiere to do more of the work, instagram or tick tock or any of these, other accounts to do less of the work so,that you could, have the highest quality for your videos, what we're gonna do is change things, right over here, for the first one we're gonna go night,uh sorry 1080 by,1080 and this is going to give us our,one to one aspect ratio,we said that this was good for facebook, and also instagram feed,um we're gonna go save preset,we're gonna call this one times one,and i'm gonna write facebook and i'm,gonna write,29 frames per second the reason why i,wrote facebook is because i would, use this more for facebook than i would, for instagram and i'll explain in two, seconds why,and press okay and then then it'll pop,up over here i already have it so i'm,going to delete the preset, now for our next one we're going to go,over here and we're going to change this,to 13.50,this is going to give our 4 to 5 aspect, ratio, and we're going to save this one and,we're going to call this, four times five and we're gonna call it,feed and then we're gonna write 29,frames per second,so that you know this one's good for, instagram feed,uh you're gonna piss okay i'm gonna hit, cancel, and then for our last one we are going,to,save another one and we're gonna call, this one uh this is 1080 by 1920.,this is going to give us our 9 to 16,aspect ratio size this is for our tic, tocs this is for stories this is for our, reels on this is the one that's going to,take up the most room on your phone,um so this one i'm going to save as,uh sorry nine times 16 we're gonna call, this story, whoopsies story i can't write today,we're gonna hit call th

How To Edit TikTok Videos in Adobe Premiere Pro (Dimensions, Export, & Upload)
How To Edit TikTok Videos in Adobe Premiere Pro (Dimensions, Export, & Upload)
what's up you guys is Joseph here, welcome back to another video today we,are talking about tik-tok and more, specifically how to edit your videos for,tik-tok in Adobe Premiere Pro we're,gonna go over a couple of things in the, screencast that I'm about to show you, including export settings what, dimensions to use to properly configure, your file to match the settings of the,tic-tock app how to transfer your file, between devices and the fastest and what,I found to be the best quality method, possible how to sync your video to,tik-tok and a couple of other things as,well that I think you'll find a lot of,value in so if that's the case that, turns out to be true be sure to drop a,like down below this video and consider, subscribing to this amazing channel here,on YouTube and since we're talking about, the subject of tik-tok why not stop on,by at the joseph thai which is my,universal handle and consider dropping a,follow there as well so that being said, let's get started so I'm just gonna, start by firing up Premiere Pro here,I've got a couple of files on my desktop, that I'm gonna use to edit for, demonstration purposes alright I'm just, gonna go ahead and start and create a,new project called let's just call it,tick tock here on our workflow for Adobe,Premiere Pro I'm just gonna start by,importing a couple of clips that I had, from a trip to Russia that I took back, into back in September I'm just going to,use these for demonstration purposes, alright so once you've imported all the, files that you want to use for your tick, tock edit what we're gonna do is we're,now going to create a sequence that has,the proper dimensions for the portrait, mode in essentially for the mobile from, mobile so we're gonna go to a new we're,gonna go to sequence command and we're,gonna go to settings and typically again, sixteen by nine is like the standard, landscape that you see on YouTube that, you see on wanna see when you watch a,landscape mode on your phone so we're,just gonna reverse that to vertical so,we're gonna go 1080 by 1920 we're going,to click OK you can mess with some of,these days if you want honestly they're,for demonstration purposes and simple, edits they should be fine or in a click, okay alright and again that's gonna give, you that vertical dimension right here, and I have it at 10% I could I'm just, going to just give me a sec I'm just, gonna put these in here I'm just gonna,do some quick edits on them so we're,working with something that is at least, aesthetically pleasing to the eye, alright guys so we got some super super, basic that we're gonna play, that just added a little bit of color, grading and then just a couple of other, little cuts and jumps here and there so,what I'm gonna do right now is you, probably notice it's not scaled up to,the vertical format here essentially so,what we're going to do is we're going to,go to effects and then of course you, scale it up and crop it to the exact, position of your preference here's a,little trick right here if you want to,you can just go ahead and copy copy the, actual clip so we're just going to go,ahead and copy and what you can do is,you can select all the others you can go,to edit you can go to paste attributes, alright and then click motion since that,is the actual settings that you scaled,in be scale of the clip go and click OK,and what it essentially does is it crops,in on all the others as well now this is,this is what it looks like cropped in,since it actually I mean I when I film, these I didn't frame it properly but, this is what we're gonna use for now, they're essentially all cropped in you, know the the way I had them okay so what,we're gonna do so now we've got the, dimensions down now assuming you've,already edited your your piece of work, you'd put the proper music to it I would, have done this here but that we're just, going to use this for now what you're,gonna do is are going to go ahead and, export so tell you the export settings, that I would I would recommend so just, going to click command M to export this,so for me what I found the work best and,I played it with a couple of these and,it's a little bit tricky it's a bit, different than Instagram so what I like,to do is actually export it at 1080p is,what I found works the best, obviously you can't upscale something, this was some that 1080 so I can't,export it in 4k so what I found really, just works best is you can do YouTube,1080 Full HD or you can actually just go,to the standard high quality 1080 HD so,I'm just going to go ahead and click, that now down to the specific settings, here there's a couple of things that I,would recommend specifically number one,you want to click match source of course,so it exports at the proper dimensions, scroll down render at maximum depth I,always recommend that bbr pass one pass, too it doesn't really matter it adds, sometimes just a little bit more, sharpness and clarity is essentially, what it does and then you can just leave, these by default it's not going to make, much of a difference if you move it,a

Why you should stop shooting video in 16:9 aspect ratio
Why you should stop shooting video in 16:9 aspect ratio
i'm gonna open up this video with a,question, what do you struggle with the most as a,content creator in 2022 i'm gonna share, with you what i struggle with and maybe, you struggle with this i have to go and, make content for youtube which is,horizontal and then i gotta go make, additional content for tik tok and, instagram that is vertical and then when,i shoot something that's really amazing, that's horizontal i'm like oh let's turn, this into a tic toc or instagram then, when i go to crop it for vertical it,looks like trash like this would be an,example right now now i'm so zoomed in,on my face like what is even happening, where is he what is going on it's,because you don't have enough room to,crop and i also feel the looming anxiety,of trying to be everywhere all the time, for all of these platforms,so this year we started doing a lot of,skits and if you've watched any of the, most recent youtube videos you'll see, that there's actually a skit at the, beginning of that video that can also be,repurposed for instagram and tick tock, but the issue is that when we try to cut,the vertical content it just didn't look, good so we would have to shoot the skits, twice and sometimes we would get better, performances when it was horizontal then,we would get it vertical so it was kind,of annoying and we had to edit those, things two times there's twice as much, work so we can post on all the platforms,so then we came up with this brilliant, solution we're like you know what let's,shoot with two cameras one that's,shooting vertical another one that's,shooting horizontal and then we'll sync, them in post and then that's a quick, easy fix but it still required a lot of,data management and editing time and, then, praise the worlds and all the camera, gods, there was a solution now if you guys, don't know we shoot lumix now and i was, playing around with the menu system i,was like ooh this camera shoots, anamorphic i was like wait a second, anamorphic allows me to shoot 4x3 and,4x3 on the lumix s5 is 3320a by 24.96,and when you shoot 16x9 on that exact, same camera it's actually 3840 by 2160.,so yes you're losing a little bit of,that horizontal resolution but what, you're gaining in return is vertical, resolution which means that you have, more room for cropping in,post-production for social media in 2022,this is by far the best hack for, shooting i've ever come across in terms,of our workflow this is actually a game, changer and i don't like to like throw, that word around a lot oh this is a game, changing feature look it turns on no,this feature is so important for our, workflow having the ability to make, horizontal content that can easily be,vertical content is so important to our, brand and that's only the lumix s5 if,you're actually using the lumix gh6 it,allows you to shoot in 5.8 k anamorphic,4x3 which gives you the resolution of,5760x4320 that is so much room in,post-production that it gives you the, flexibility to create literally almost, any single export format that you want, for any social media now or in the, future so this is a skit that we just, posted on the last video where we used, this 4x3 workflow so here is the final, clip that we shot here it is in 4x3 and,now here's the cropping for 16 by nine, and now here is the cropping for nine by,sixteen and here's additional cropping, for four by five and one by one for any, other format that you need to create i,don't know who's making one by ones, anymore like it's definitely not 2018 on,instagram i know that we can complain, about having to be everywhere all the, time on all the different platforms but,you can't deny the importance of showing,up on all of those platforms if having, the ability to repurpose content means, that you get to show up more often, you're going to increase your chances of,growing an audience but most importantly,i think it's really easy to not get, motivated in this space when things, don't do well but if you have one video, clip and you're able to post that to all,the platforms there's a good chance that, you'll see success at least on one of,those platforms from that and that will, keep you motivated to keep creating i go,through this whole motivation boost all,the time for example that skit that you, just saw in this video when i posted, that to youtube it only got 5 000 views, but when i posted it to instagram and, tick tock within the first few hours i,got a total of 400 000 views that gets,me excited to keep creating more content,in the future if you guys want to play, around with the 4x3 files i will leave a,link in the description to the raw clip,so that you can make your own edits i,would love to see your take on the edit,of this skit ultimately at the end of,the day even if you don't repurpose your, work for tick-tock or instagram or,whatever you want to be doing at least, you have more space to crop in,post-production for example look i can,go up here i can go down here i have so,much room for cropping in post or,reframing in post and that is such a,valuable thing too so now that you've,

How to resize video for TikTok, Reels, Shorts ▪ CapCut Edit Tutorial ▪ Horizontal Video Full Screen
How to resize video for TikTok, Reels, Shorts ▪ CapCut Edit Tutorial ▪ Horizontal Video Full Screen
all of the different social media, platforms have different size, requirements like vertical for tick-tock,or landscape on youtube unless it's for, shorts and then if you want to post it,somewhere else maybe it needs to be a,square i get that that is all, kind of stressful but it does not need,to be difficult so i'm going to show you,a few more tricks on resizing your, videos in cap cut,hey friends my name is mary lou mandel, and my mission is to encourage and, empower you to create digital content on,this channel i make content about making, content so if you're into that kind of,thing please do subscribe so,today's tutorial i have done other, videos on how to resize or crop your, videos for tick tock instagram and, youtube on mobile using, cap cut so i'll make sure there's a link,to that video but i wanted to add on to,it because there was a question that, came up a few times on how do you take,a youtube video and make it full screen,on tick tock and i had the question a,few different times but i wasn't quite, sure what they were asking because, there's a few different ways you can do,this, but,i believe the initial question is taking, like a landscape video, and blowing it up so it's now vertical, but then you have to kind of,move things so,the subject is in the center so i'm,going to show you how to do that but i'm,also going to show you another, way that i like to put video into, vertical if for some reason i can't zoom, out all the way so like videos like this,if i'm too close if i cut it in it's,just going to be like all face which, sometimes is fine but sometimes you want,a little bit more breathing room for, your glory so let me,show you how i do this,it's gonna be great so using cap cut one,of my favorite,um,apps that i like to share with you folks, and it is free for ios and for android,it is made by bite dance which is the, company that makes tick tock,so they get it and they know how, easy, editing is so valuable to us as content, creators so,get cap cut if you haven't yet make sure, you go ahead and download it it is easy, and for re and i'm going to be doing an,entire course on cap kit that's going to,come out very soon hoping august 1st so,if you're interested in that let me know,in the comments so i can make sure you, know about it when it comes out,but what we're gonna do first we're,going to open a new project, and then we are going to pull in,a,landscape video,so,this picture came up on my memories this, little gizmo little baby gizmo and she's,you know walking around doing some, tricks, and say i want to take this on to,tick-tock,so what do i need to do in order to make, this happen, first thing you want to do is bring in,the original video you can do this the, other way around too but i just want to,make it the easiest for you you've got a,video you want to make vertical but it,is not vertical, bring that video in so right now it's,landscape and you're going to scroll, over here on the bottom,to format, then you're going to select 9x16,and now you see that it's small it's got, like black bars in the top and the, bottom so actually i'll change the color,so you can, see,so right now there's bars on the top and,the bottom but you want it to be full, screen,so what you're going to do is tap on the, picture and there's going to be like a,little green outline on the outside of,it you take two fingers, and you zoom in,it's very very simple you zoom in and, then you can pull it to the side and, then you can see a little baby gizmo, look at her oh my goodness,it really is that easy and then when you, have the subject go off of camera you,can do a split and then you can move it,you know move the next, bit around,so right now she's not in the center so,i can split,i can take this clip, and move it to where you see her the, little little cat boot a little cat but,so right now there isn't necessarily, tracking there are more advanced ways, where you can use keyframes and move it,around so it will move, smoothly you don't have to do the cuts, the easiest way is to just, split them into just the shots that you, want and center it as best as possible, but we can't get into keyframes in the, future it is more advanced it's like a,little more thinking to get done but it,is not impossible and if you want to try, that it's this little little diamonds, where they go,these little diamonds here are keyframes, and you'll mark one place and then, you'll mark where you want it to move, and it'll it'll move it it's it's a,little advanced but we will get into, that so if you've got like your video, like this right so in this clip we're,fine, but,in this clip i want to see the whole, scene,so what you can do with this we can, make that one smaller, and move it over,to the size that we need it to be,and if you don't want a color background, like it doesn't have to be that,i actually sometimes do a background, that is a graphic and if you follow me,on instagram you've definitely seen me,do this because i have some videos that, you need to see more space,so,you go to canvas here on the bottom

How to Resize Video for Any Social Media: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook (Video Resizer)
How to Resize Video for Any Social Media: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook (Video Resizer)
- In this video,,I'm going to show you how to resize video, for any social media platform,,then how to adjust the crop and layout,to your video's new aspect ratio, and then how to cut, trim, add text,,and add images to that video.,Now to get started,,head over to veed.io and
click on Upload Your Video.,If you don't already have a
video, you can click Record.,Otherwise click on Upload a file,,select the document
and then click on Open.,After that your video will now be imported, into Veed's video editor.,And the first thing we're going to do,is name our video project.,Now we can see that our
video is in the timeline.,And we can also see, that we have our video
on the video canvas,,and it has the 9:16 aspect ratio.,Let's take a look, if I click play,as you can see a quick
video of me skateboarding.,So to resize this video, it's very simple.,We just want to make sure, that we're in the settings
tab in the left toolbar,,and under the size menu,,we can click on this drop down menu.,And here we have a bunch of
different preset aspect ratios, for different social media platforms.,If I want to post this to
Instagram as a square post,,I can choose the square 1:1 aspect ratio.,If I want to change this video
and resize it for YouTube,so it has the 16:9 aspect ratio,,I select YouTube and change
it to the 16:9 aspect ratio.,As you can see in the drop down menu,,we've got a bunch more different ones, for different social media platforms.,Now I want to post this to Instagram,,so I'm gonna make it a square video, and then change it to
the 1:1 aspect ratio.,So I click square.,And as you can see, we
now have a square video,,which is the 1:1 aspect
ratio in the video canvas.,Now that you've resized it,,I'm gonna show you how you can adjust, the crop and layout of your video,,so it fits the square 1:1 aspect ratio.,It's very simple to do.,What I'm gonna do is click on my video,,and then these little handles
will appear on the side,,and I'm just gonna click
and drag to change it,,to fit the aspect ratio.,I can also resize it,by clicking on these dots in the corners,,make it be shape and size I
want, and I can also rotate it.,So if I want it to be a little
bit slanted just like so,,I can click and drag and do so.,To make things simple,
if I click on the video,,I can also go under the
transformation section, and just click Fill the
canvas, or Fit the canvas.,Now, if I only want to rotate,a specific section of the video,,all I have to do is cut out the section, that I want to apply that rotation to.,To do this,,place the play head in the timeline, where we want to make a cut,,click on split.,And then again, place the
play head in the second place, where we want to make the
cut, and click on split.,Now we have this middle clip,,we select it and we can
rotate this clip individually.,So now if you take a look and press play,,there is only a specific
section of our video, that has been rotated.,On top of this, we can also
do things such as add text.,To do so, we just click on the
text tab in the left toolbar, and now we can select a
preset layout of texts,or just click regular
text to add some text,,type in the text we want.,We can change the font, the
size, the color, and more.,And then we can also click and drag it,in the timeline to move it around,,and then click and drag the handles,on either extremity of the text,to change the timing and duration.,And then we can do the same
thing again with images.,And to add images,,we just have to click
Upload in the left toolbar,,select Upload image,
and repeat the process.,Once I'm happy with my
newly resized video,,all I have to do is click
on export in the top right.,And because I'm posting this to Instagram,,I'm gonna adjust my export settings.,Here, we have some preset export settings.,If I click in the dropdown menu,,I'm gonna scroll down
all the way to Instagram,,click on Instagram,,and this means that Veed will then use,Instagram's recommended
settings to render our video.,So when I upload it to Instagram,,it will keep as much quality as possible.,Then I just click on export.,Veed hen begins to render my video,,with the best settings for Instagram.,And once it's finished rendering,,I can download it as an MP4 video,,download it as a GIF,,I can go through and edit the video again,,or I can copy the link, and share it with friends straight away.,And that is how to resize video.,If you enjoyed this video
and you found it helpful,,please hit the like button.,And if you wanna see more
video editing tutorials,,please hit the subscribe button, and don't forget to hit
that notification bell.,Thanks for watching.
