what's going on guys we're back to,another fresh commentary now guys the,crop and story time comments need to,stop they're all over tech talk i don't,know if it's happening on any other,social media but i'm sick of it,everywhere i go all i see in the,comments of any video is crop or story,time with a question mark and it's just,gone too far we've had situations in the,past where people constantly spam a,phrase or inside joke a number of times,like the recent one before this like,goofy ah or even on youtube where people,used to spam oh yeah yeah all over the,comments but those little trends i,should say eventually dies out or as,time passes more and more people stop,saying it because more and more people,have been commenting these stupid things,and then it just gets oversaturated and,it's not funny anymore so they stop but,i remember back then when we actually,got some real comments from people,related to the content from the post,that just scrolled by but now even when,i try to scroll down a number of times,to get past these posts with the,terrible comments that don't even relate,to the content i hardly see any and it's,just too much man and whoever started,this joker trend i hope you stub your,toe man because this isn't funny,everyone is just tired of it on the,platform even with the solutions people,have been posting by filtering out these,words and settings they still been,finding ways around it like changing,specific letters to a different,languages letter with the extra symbols,or something like that so there's just,no escaping these comments the only,thing we can do is just ride this wave,and we have to wait till it passes and,people actually stop but i don't think,it's ever going to stop unless the,platform itself tick tock does something,about it like ban the words themselves,or just do something to combat this spam,but rip to the actual people who want to,get a crop of the video or genuinely,want a story time explanation from the,poster because now the owner of the page,is just going to think that you're,joking and ignore you because there are,just so many other comments saying the,same thing that they're not going to,take you seriously there are just so,many sheeps on take talk right now man,they just copy what everyone else does,and it's just spamming the exact same,thing and it's just sad but we're all,sick of this and when will these,comments end like it's been a couple,weeks now bro it just seems like it's,getting worse and worse back then i,would bump into a comment or two saying,this but now it's like every single,comment no matter what post it is it,could be about gaming food drama or even,a meme post it's gonna be fluttered,with crop or story time comments and,it's just crazy like they need to stop,the joke is dead it's not funny anymore,and this entire trend or whatever it is,has to come to an end like at this point,i would prefer comments to get disabled,overall i could care less tech talk,should have done like an april fools,joke or something and say that because,of the crop and story time comments,comments would now be disabled for good,that would have got people to stop,honestly because they would get scared,that there would be no comments on the,platform and it will sort of fit with,the holiday or joke that goes on every,year on that day and it won't be true i,mean it's just a joke for that day so,that would have been gold and perfect,but yeah guys let me know your thoughts,in the comments are you guys annoyed by,it that's pretty much it just wanted to,speak on this because it really was,getting annoying and it's like,everywhere now like it's just too far,like just stop but if you're new be sure,to subscribe i post videos every other,day at 4pm est also going to be,streaming later tonight some ghost wire,tokyo so stay tuned for that and come,hang out all socials links in the,description and yeah thank you so much,for taking time out of your day to watch,this video and i'll catch you guys in,the next one peace out stay blue,you

So I wasn't planning
on shooting a video today,but there's this rumor going around,that the Sony a7 IV can shoot
4K60 non-cropped full frame,if you do a little hack with a Ninja V.,And I've been getting tagged on Twitter,and sent emails and
everything multiple times,since this came out,,I don't know, like two
days ago or something.,So I wanted to address it
it in a quick little video,,but I don't have the a7 IV,,I only had it for the review,and I haven't purchased one myself,,but I have a friend who
does have one, iPhonedo.,So I got him on the phone here right now.,You're already posing,,how do you know I'm gonna cut to you?,You don't know I'm cutting you.,Anyway, I got iPhonedo on the phone.,- Just in case.,- And he was gracious enough
to do all the tests for us.,By the way, if you're not subscribed,or watch his channel regularly,,you gotta go watch this guy.,One, we're gonna talk
about his tests in a minute,,they're excellent.,And two, he is probably one of
my favorite YouTube channels.,So why aren't you watching him?,Like no other channel,could I just like send a message at,,well, for me it was like midnight,,he's in the Pacific coast,,it was only 9:00 p.m.,But where I was like, "Hey,
can you do some tests?",And he was like, "Yeah,
what tests are we doing?",So I appreciate you, iPhonedo,,thanks for doing the test and thanks for.,- Was my pleasure.,- The video in question says that,if you take your a7 IV,and you set it to 1080p,then you can go to 60 frames per second,and there is no crop.,That is true, that's like if you
record internally 1080p.,But then they were finding,that if you go to the HDMI output,you can still set the HDMI
output to 2160p Ultra HD.,And when you do this,the Ninja V will display UHD60,in the top corner of it,,which led this person to believe,that he was getting 4K60
recording on his Ninja V.,And that's true and not true.,- It is true.,So everything in that statement is true.,You can set the camera to 1080p60,and it's filming without the crop.,And then you can set the HDMI out to 4K,and then feed that into the Atomos Ninja.,And then Atomos Ninja says, it's 4K,and you start recording,and all of that is true.,- In his video, he showed that his file,was 3840x2160 at 60 frames?,The file integrity is 4K60.,Everything was fine.,The issue though is, is it
scaling just up from 1080p?,It's not really 4K.,So that's what I wanted
iPhonedo to test because,,well, first of all,this is a compliment to iPhonedo,,is that you never know
when you ask somebody like,,"Hey, can you do a test for me?",You never know what you're gonna get.,Sometimes it's like
somebody sends you two clips,with their dog and they're
running around or whatever.,You're like, "Well, this is nice footage,but I don't know how I'm
supposed to compare this.",Anyway, you had a great shot,,you threw a color checker in there.,You got a little focus chart,and you manually focused them all,,everything was locked off.,It was beautiful.,You did a great job.,- So nice to hear because
this is how we roll.,This is how we do stuff in our channels.,And it's really great to find someone,who appreciates that,who does work in the same discipline.,So it was a lot of fun for
me to prepare it properly,and send it properly for you.,- So we did sort of two batches of tests.,The first one was just repeating,what the video showed you.,You set it to 1080p60,
you record out to 4K.,The only issue with that is that,that can't really be recreated,because the camera doesn't
have a true 4K60 uncropped,to compare it against.,So all we could do is
really look at the image,and compare it to the other 4K stuff,that the camera can do.,And to me that first test
looked like upscaled 1080p,,it did not look like 4K.,Do you agree?,- I completely agree.,It absolutely looks
upscaled and nothing else.,- So we did the second batch of tests,which I think is probably a bit smarter,based on the test situation.,What we can do is we can
force the crop in 1080p,,we can turn that on or off.,So we enabled APS-C mode in 1080p,which now we have a similar
frame to the regular 4K60.,So we've got 1080p60
with the crop turned on,and 4K60 which always has the crop.,And we were able to compare
a true 4K60 recording,to a 1080p60 with a crop recording,where the output is set to 1080p over HDMI,and where the output
is set to 4K over HDMI.,The true 4K60 crop
recording looked like 4K.,I could tell in the color checker,there was like just detail,,the sort of textured pattern,of the color checker was there,
all the detail was there.,And this is looking on it
added on a 4K timeline.,Whether you had it HDMI
output set to 1080p,,or you had the HDMI output set to 2160p,,both of them had sort
of a blurrier texture,on the color checker.,And overall, they looked
like the other 1080p footage.,So what I ended up seeing from you,was like three shots that all
looked like slightly blurrier,,and then only one that looked extra sharp,,and that was the true 4K60 crop.,- That is correct.,Actually I was going bac

sup guys alakay with vide and today i'm,gonna show you how to quickly and easily,crop your videos for any social media,platform so let's just say you have a,video that you want to upload to,multiple social media platforms such as,instagram stories facebook youtube they,all have different dimensions for,example instagram stories you need the,video to be 1080 wide and 1920 in,heights for youtube you'll need 1920,wide and then 1080 in height and then,for a square post on instagram for an,example or a square post on facebook you,need the video to be 1080 by 1080 so in,this video i'm going to show you exactly,how you can crop and edit your videos,for social media without changing your,edits so the tool we're gonna be using,is v so we're going to head over to,video on the computer once we are on a,video we're just going to create a new,project once you've created a new,project you want to click the upload,button and just select the video that,you want to upload so I'm just going to,select this video right here and then it,is imported into Veatch project editor,and as we can see on the top right is,currently uploading it only takes a few,seconds so this video right here I want,to upload it let's just say to YouTube,to Facebook and then to an Instagram,story so for YouTube let's just say I,made an edit I'm just going to add a,little bit of text and in this text I'm,going to type welcome so I have now,typed out welcome I'm just going to,change the colors and I'm just doing,this very very quickly just for the,purpose of this video so I'm gonna put a,welcome in in the top left like this and,then I'm going to add a progress bar so,people know how long my video is going,to last I just drag that to the bottom,there we go,so now if I just click on play as you,can see I have the progress bar at the,bottom of the video and then welcome,text at the top and if I just click on,download this is basically going to be a,video ready for YouTube due to the fact,that it's in 1920 by 1080 but what if I,want to post it let's just say to,Instagram or Facebook as a square video,so that is 1080 by 1080 I just go to the,canvas size menu up here and I literally,just click on square one by one so I,click on this and then all my elements,are still going to be on the canvas and,they're going to be readjusted to fit,the square format as you can see the,text is still in the top-left corner and,a progress bar is still on the bottom,the only thing we have to do is just,quickly resize our video so we literally,just have to drag and drop the corner,right there so if I just go back to the,beginning,as you can see the video has now changed,dimensions has been cropped for a social,media post on Instagram or Facebook as a,square post without losing any of its,elements so again if I wanted to let's,just say put this on snapchat,tik-tok or an Instagram story Facebook,stories we all know the dimensions are,1080 wide and 1920 in height so we're,just going to click again on the canvas,menu and this time we're going to go,down to either story or you click on the,tip top we have the 9 by 16 and format,so again all the elements are still,going to be here and what you have to do,is just click and drag to get your video,readjusted and if I just click on play,and there we have it now if I want to,download this video all I have to do is,to click the download button and then,this video is going to be downloaded for,my stories and I can do exactly the same,with every single dimension for social,media so this is an easy way in a quick,way to quickly post one video across,multiple different social media,platforms without having to reap edit,the whole thing having to change the,whole thing so that being said if you,have any questions please let us know in,the comment section down below if you,enjoyed this video please hit the like,button and if you want to see more hit,that subscribe button thanks for,watching and we'll see you in the next,video
