this,is hebrew hits presented by j tribe, radio dot com,i'm your host malia and i sit down with, people who live by the motto,it's what you do with what you have that, makes a difference, welcome to the 42nd episode of hebrew, hits i am so excited, for this interview i'm sitting down with, someone so exciting,i have been following this page for a,very long time we finally found out who,is the face, behind this page before we get there i'd,like to kindly ask you if you can please,go follow, hebrew hits on instagram and facebook at,hebrew underscore hits, and please go follow our youtube channel, hit that subscribe button at hebrew hits, radio, and go follow and subscribe on all of,your favorite streaming apps so right, now,i am sitting down with the face of,simcha spa, with the girl who runs simcha spot her, name is serena serena welcome to the, show how you doing today, good good it's so nice to be here thank, you for having me on maya,of course how have you been doing with, corona coven i know there may be like a,second strain right now, yeah it's crazy i mean thank god you, know in baltimore it's calmed down a bit,but um thank god i work virtually right,so yeah, when was simple spot actually started so,we were the first people to have an,instagram account with simclass, and um the instagram started in 2015.,um you would think that because of the, following we have it would have been you, know 15 years old,but instagram has only gotten popular, really in the last decade,um so we've only been around for five, years it's really shocking, wow five years and you grew so big in,five years, yes yes we really have we have,an amazing following that is so engaged,um,that really keeps the brand alive so,we've been very very lucky to gain such,a following, and we you know always trying to keep up,on the latest trend to keep everybody, you know happy and excited for sure and,i know that there are so many different, social media accounts, that are posting engagements there are,so many different ones but there's,nothing that could, compare to there's nothing, simcha spot is the way to go i every day,i checked simple spot at least once, twice maybe even three times, sorry i'm looking at simple spots so how,did you get your, audience to be so engaged and so like,so pick up that following that's a great, question,i mean my entire job at simchat spot is,to post content throughout the day,i think we are one of the most active, accounts on instagram, you know that every time you check some, class spot even if you check it on the, hour there is going to be new contents,up so we are the first ones to get the, greatest content,in if there's a funny fail wedding video,we get it first, you know and we and that really is,because,we have a following that loves the, brands and loves our mission,um so they want to send it to us first, they want us to,put it out they want to show all their, family and friends it was on simple spot,so you know that's really how we we grew, but the beginning process must have been, very hard to actually get people to,trust you,and send you their pictures sure sure,so there are definitely people who do,not want to be on simple spot and,we encourage people to let us know every, day people message me hi serena dear, editor,i'm getting engaged tonight i do not, want to be on some spot, wow we take that very seriously at,simple spot,um i keep a running list next to my bed,and i keep people's names on it who do,not want to be on some class spot,um because you know our brand is all, about somehow, and you know and spreading happiness not, making people uncomfortable, how long is that list um it depends, sometimes we'll have a few people every, week sometimes four people will message,me one day you know and it's,usually i find it's more people who are,on the shy side or maybe, they didn't tell their bubby yet and, they don't want you know it to get, leaked that their friends didn't know,um so it's interesting yeah that's,interesting and how did they come up,with the name simcha spa,and also what motivated them to start, somehow, sure so the motivator to start simple, was really there was, this interesting niche you know in the, from community, that we all know each other you know you,can know people from, you know all walks of life um you know, five towns baltimore chicago from all, over and you see them on simple spot and,you know who they are a lot of the time, right so we thought like wouldn't it be,great if there was,one place where you could find out like, all the hawk,on like you know the from world um,so that's really how it started in terms,of the name um,it really is a spot for simcha you know, you go to simcha spot to be happy,um so that was really the idea behind, the name, very interesting i love the name simha, spa and your name is serena so,always when i put two together i always, just think of gossip girl the show, because serena vanderwoodsen is always, being spotted,on on gossip girl so right when you came, out with simcoe spa it was like right, when gossip girl was very popula

FLYING TO IRAQ WITH LIPA SCHMELTZER (Episode 1)
FLYING TO IRAQ WITH LIPA SCHMELTZER (Episode 1)
okay um it's been a crazy crazy day i'm,in new jersey about 20 minutes away from, newark airport and i just parked my car, here and i'm waiting for an uber to come, take me to the actual airport i'm about,to get on a plane to baghdad iraq via, turkey it's my first time heading over, there and i'm going with a dear friend,of mine and a very special person mr,lipa schmelzer who is a famous hasidic, superstar,um,it's a long story i'm going to explain, more later,i'm a little bit too nervous right now,but we're just gonna, get into the uber and get on the way, okay so i'm at the airport it's an hour, and 19 minutes before the flight leap, was not answering his phone i wonder, what how this is going to work out it,seems like lipa got here already and,he's checked in,so i guess i'll meet him a little bit,later,15 minutes five zero minutes before the, flight i tried going through security, and the tsa did not allow me through, because they said my name was spelled, wrong i need to get a new ticket i'm not, checking again and the agents are, working to try to figure it out,so hopefully we make this flight,i am drenched in sweat,i'm at the gate waiting to board the, flight, the craziest things happened first my,ticket wasn't good they had to change, the name they changed the name twice, csa wouldn't accept it i had to call the, manager the manager did it,then i went through security, have all this electronics my microphones, the cameras, they made me go through again they put,it through again because they wanted to,check my cameras again, finally i get to the gate area i realize,i'm an entirely wrong gate area i have,to go out, back,to the checking area,go walk further down, get into, another tsa checkpoint i had a whole, different side of the airport, and i went through, and i was sure i missed the flight, and i got here, and uh,they're still boarding and almost no,one's on the flight yet thank god thank, you hashem, okay so i'm here now with lipa at the, gates yeah he's beautiful he says we're,going to change our perception of iraq, because i'm so afraid to be honest i was, testing my belief in god because i have,to be strong and believe in human beings, that one day will all be a beast and,we're taking the plans to go,taking the leap of faith, and uh yeah he almost missed it by a,spelling mistake and this and that but,we're finally here, and uh we're thinking we're enjoying the, ride,we're taking it whatever it takes us,100 and this is going to be an amazing, trip we're going to be safe we're going,to be happy we're going to be healthy,we're going to make amazing meaningful, content we're going to change the world, together,so this is the kosher business class, meal comes with a very cute sign here, you're hungry i'm kosher,we're eating dinner i gave away my cake,i guess i'm generous to him and i'm,generous to my body, and i'm meeting mr healthy hamas, yeah,i'm very proud of lieber that he,actually got on this flight because last, night he had a little bit of a,incident he decided not to come, but he changed his mind at the end and i,think i think he made the right decision,i'll let you know on the way back, okay so it's almost the end of our, flight um we've been on the plane for, about close to eight hours now,so we're gonna be landing in istanbul, thank god i got an amazing uh about four, hour nap and lipo got some sleep too he,is working, learning how to use some of his musical, gadgets so that he can, produce some music on the go while he's,traveling, and we're going to do some writing, having a good time, anything to say yeah um,i have fear, but uh i'm gonna try to persevere, because, things can happen, anywhere and things can be safe anyway, there's uh,there's something to to to think about, when you go to a place where it's more, dangerous than others, you can't just be reckless, but uh,no pay no gain there's a risk in it and,i think we're doing a mission to,uncover colorful cultures that, was varied for so long,so i've been praying i'm saying from, psalms to hillary because i promised god, that if i make this flight i'm going to,say, the whole book today,um it takes about two hours to say it,and the little is drawing, sketching,so,that's you saying, and that's me having fear, okay so,we're in the lounge in istanbul,we landed about an hour ago,i'm going to be praying,uh,morning prayers here, and uh soon we're off to back then, okay so we just finished praying,i'm gonna try to get a shower or,something to change clothing a little, bit because,i can't wear my acidic jewish clothing,in baghdad, and uh our next flight is in about an,hour and a half, now we're in the uh,turkish airlines lounge in istanbul this, place is next level largest,uh private bathroom shower i've ever, seen at an airport look at this, okay so i just finished my shower and,i'm like a new person now comes the fun, part,i need to get rid of these, and my skull cap, and,my fringes, because i cannot walk around back there, like that and i can't even be on the, plane like that okay so we're at the, airport in istanbul about to go back,

LEARN an AWESOME MAGIC trick! (feat. DJ MATT DUBB)
LEARN an AWESOME MAGIC trick! (feat. DJ MATT DUBB)
what's up guys slow mo Levenger here and, have a really awesome announcement for, everyone I'm starting a brand new, segment on my YouTube channel where I,actually sit down with the guests and, teach them a magic trick no I did not, misspeak I teach them a magic trick and,you at home also follow along I'm so,excited to share this with you guys and,I hope you guys are right guys so we're,here with DJ Mad Dog we're about to,teach a magic trick this is the first, episode of the teaching segment learn so,here's what we'll do I'll first show,I'll do the trick and then we'll learn,it and then you guys can all do at home,so go ahead pick any card you want don't,show me good you can show the camera if,you want to do I'll be fine good nice, and I didn't see it and we'll just put,the rest of the cards on top it's,somewhere in the middle of the deck yeah, yeah if you want you can actually just, cut the deck wherever you want nice good,so there's no even if I know where you,put it back now you cut the deck you, know there's no way I can know here's,I'm gonna do I'm gonna look through the, cards yeah and I'm gonna try to figure, out which car yours is based off of just,I'm just feeling your pulse okay so I'm,gonna try to feel your pulse and you're,gonna try to keep a straight face and,I'm gonna try to figure out which one, your car was so let me just feel it's no,it's actually you take the cards you, take the first you spread through them,I'm gonna feel your spine wait go back, for a second sorry again wait stop, speeds up right here right about I'm,gonna go with, there did you guys want to learn that,we're about to learn that right now you, ready here's how the trick works, basically very simple it's all acting, besides for the actual trick part so I,asked you to take out a card you take, one out now while he looks at the card I,don't know if you guys notice but I,actually just take a peek at the bottom, card okay so I'm looking at this card, you look at that card you show it to the, camera so in this case it would be two, clubs nice and I'm looking at the bottom, card that's the ace of clubs, okay sweep so now all I do is I tell you,to put it here which is basically the, table you know the next one and these of,clubs goes right on top of it and even,if you cut the deck no matter how many, times that's super easy right now when, you cut the deck now I'll have to do is,say okay show this to them so in this, case the bottom card is the ace of clubs,so I mean I all I do is I look for these, two clubs and here we go look you see, that the card right there's these two, clubs you see that the card right next,to it to the right of it actually it is,the two of clubs because if this was, previously on the bottom that means that, was previously on top that's the card, you can play around with it food, everyone you can smell the cards look, the cards however you want to find the, cards that's up to you but once you know, the card that's the church all right, guys that's the that's teaching a trick, with math go check out his stuff I'm,gonna put all his links in the, description all your socials Instagram,Facebook YouTube whatever you have it's,all in the description click on it,follow him, check out all his music alright guys so,here's another awesome application for, this trick this is actually my favorite, application so what you'll do is you'll,have them pick a card in this case we'll,just use the nine of clubs and I already, know that the five of clubs is on the, bottom now a very important thing is,that you should always make sure you, look at the bottom card before the trick, even starts before you even come over to,the person you're giving the trick on,that way it doesn't look shady when you,try looking at the bottom card so in,this case it's the five of clubs so I,have them picked the card they put it,back on top they cut the cards you can,cut the cards as many times as you want,it will not change the fact that those, two cards are next to each other that's,very important and if you cut them, exactly in the same spot it's just gonna,go back on top and back on the bottom so,what you're gonna do at this point is,actually just gonna spread the cards out,on the table and I know that the bottom, card was the five of clubs and obviously, boom it's right there the nine of clubs,is right next to it which was his card, and, now I actually know what his card was I,don't tell him that obviously what I do,in that tell him to actually just stick, out his hand so I thought you just, extend out your hand straight perfect, and now I'm gonna run over the cards, like this when your hand goes over your, card just think stop so I'm gonna say,it's around here so at this point I just, remove all these cards those are out of,the way we don't want to worry about, those anymore and I tell to actually, just extend out one finger so extend, that one finger perfect and I just go,over the cards like this again think, stop when I go over your card try not to,give anything away and then you just put,the finger all the

meeting the parents might be a big, milestone but your debut on social media, that's the real commitment a few, questions to consider when should you, introduce your partner on social media,is it good or is it bad when couples, post their relationship a lot does the, type of post matter,so when should you introduce your, partner on social media this is the,age-old question is there like an actual, period of time for some reason a lot of,people said you should wait at least six, weeks before introducing each other what,do you think that sounds reasonable,i think i think overall it sounds, reasonable i think it depends on it also, depends on like how many times have you, seen each other in these right,if you've only seen each other twice, that's not enough what's more important,to this discussion,is,yeah how serious is his relationship, because, when you post somebody without really, knowing if it's going to work out at all,and kind of it's just whatever and you, kind of get into a pattern of posting a,lot of people it just begins to look, weird and flaky after a while so like, okay if you have a tendency to date for,six weeks and then break up it's like oh,wow here's the six week mark yeah maybe, not you know maybe people don't want to,stop sounds like a funny premise for a,shake yeah, the six weeks, yeah it sounds like a sick combination, exactly so i think i think, like my personal opinion is if you don't,want to seem like a complete flake on,social social media you might want to,wait until you're serious about them, they're not yeah they're not a random, person and i think something else, important to bring up is also, talk to the other person first don't,just be like oh it's been six weeks it's,time or it's been whatever i feel, serious about you, this is my social media and so it's my,right to post you when i want to,no it's very funny because,i say we were talking about what's the, timeline we're saying six weeks but we,we did not do six weeks kaya embodied, the famous lyrics if you want to post it,on social media put the ring on it,so quite literally that's what we did, yes,so it's funny so how did you feel uh,when when our relationship was already, serious yeah i wanted to yeah you know, make the world know, earlier,i i don't know what because i'm not a,social media person i'm also not a very, big social media person i've become a,little bit more now with youtube but in,the past i,was i very rarely, posted very very very rarely um,and so,to suddenly post just to make this, statement that now i'm in a relationship, felt really awkward to me i think that, was basically it it's just like that's a,little cringy like it's some people post, all the time and so like they have this, active feed and it's something that's,important to them and so then bringing, this up and putting this on their feet,is like this very important milestone, for them but for me,it instead felt like i need it felt like,an attention grab to me it's like i,never post on social media i did it out,but now i have to show everyone i have a,man like that's kind of i think that was, part of well that's uh yeah i don't know, that was part of how it felt to me,though like sometimes i see these posts, and it just feels very like guys look,we're here uh i don't know i don't know,if that's always what it is but there, was something about it to me that felt, extremely uncomfortable i just felt like,it was a commitment kind of to post on,social media and so i wanted there,to be some sort of like look,we're committed we are engaged, now yes everybody should know that i'm,going to get married that to me felt, appropriate and so that's why i was like, yes once there is this very obvious, commitment, then i will let everyone know what about, social media pda, does it mean you're happy,or is it a sign that you're secretly, unhappy, and overcompensating, the answer,is both one study shows that the type of,post is actually what matters general, post is for those couples who post, photos and statuses and just regular, posts whereas excessive displays are the, posts that make you feel sick when you, read them this is for those couples who, post relationship information that is,either potentially embarrassing or that, shows more affection than they're,comfortable expressing in person, couples with general relationship posts, were more satisfied than those who post, less frequently but couples posting, excessive displays were less satisfied, overall listen, you don't need to freak out about, posting something cute on social media,as long as you don't go overboard about,it you'll be fine what kind of social, media person are you what kind of social, media relationships do you have it's,more low-key or do you like to post all,the time let us know in the comments and,if you enjoyed this video please like, and subscribe for more thanks for, watching thank you,you

When Should I Revisit a Previous Relationship or Shidduch?
When Should I Revisit a Previous Relationship or Shidduch?
Hellothis is Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Bregman
of the Jewish Executive Learning Network.,And in todays "Short and Sweet" clip, I
would like to respond to another common Shidduch-related,question that I receive all the time, and
that is: When should I consider revisiting,a Shidduch, a date, a circumstance, a Shidduch-opportunity
that I already explored before? Maybe there,is somebody that I went out with three months
ago, or three years ago, people are bringing,up the suggestion again, or Im still thinking
about him, Im still thinking about her,,is this something that I should revisit? Yes,
no, what do you think?,So Ill just share with you a few practical
tips from experience of what Ive seen:,#1: Understand that almost always, there is
a reason why your Shidduch stopped in the, first place. Maybe you went out with him or
her for a while and you saw stuff that didnt, seem to resonate with you, and you just let
it go. Now, theres a reason why you let,it go, and the fact that you havent found
somebody better yet doesnt mean that you, need to go revisit that, thats number one.,#2: If the other person stopped it, theres
probably a reason why. So why do you necessarily, want to date somebody who wasnt interested,
or so interested, in you before as a candidate, for marriage, and your time didnt go anywhere.
So in general, I think once you let it, once, you did a Shidduch, and you tried it, you
tried your best, if you said no, or the other, person said no, generally I think you should
let it go and dont revisit.,Now, that being said, Im hanging an asterisk
over here; I think there are a few exceptions,to this rule that Id like for you to consider,
ok? And these are times, that for some of,my Talmidim, some of my disciples, the people
with whom I learn Torah and turn to me for, advice, that I heard a specific case and I
said, "You know what, I think you should revisit,it, okay? And here are a few examples:,#1: Something changed on the ground; some
of the facts on the ground changed.,Okay, Ill give you an example: there was
a fellow I knew who considered me to be his,Rabbi. He was dating, and he openly admits
that he was immature at the time; he was new,to dating originally, and he had went out
with someone, and they went out a couple times.,And he was only three weeks into dating. And
at the time, he had confessed to me later,,he said, "You know why I let it go with that
young lady, cause at the time, I felt hey,,Im new at dating, I only want (what
he called) a ten, and in my mind (he said),I gave her an eight, ok, I gave her an eight.
And nowbut you know what happened? A couple,of years have passed, Ive mellowed a lot,
Im much more realistic, I dont have,as much purchase power in the Shidduch market
as I thought I once did. I calmed down, Ive,settled, I mellowed. So, you know, and now
I realized, that that young lady I went out, with -- three weeks in, shes not a ten,
shes a 14, compared to everyone else I,had met so far.,So in that case, I felt that since he was
coming to the table more contrite, more settled,,with some hachnaha, with his head bowed a
little, some facts have changed on the ground,,hes a different person then he was back
then when he was starting dating and he thought,he was a hot shot, went out with 50 people.
Hes mellowed now, okay? In that case, I,thought it would make sense for the young
woman to revisit if he, because he was interested.,That is one case, okay?,Ill give you another scenario:,Sometimes, Ive seen this happen. Lets
say theres a young man who comes to my,Shiurim, Jewish Executive Learning Network
classes in NY, whatever, and hes Frum From,Birth and he comes from a very Yeshivish background.
And somehow, he ended up at a Shabbos table,,and there was a woman there, a young lady,
who had been observant for three months at,the time. He is an FFB Boy' from Brooklyn,
and there is a girl, very nice, but shes, been frum for three months. Hes basically
now, hes observant for 25 years and she,for three months, so what happened? They,
on their own, they went out a couple times.,And he said, You know, very nice girl,
but where is she holding now he said look,,her tznius isnt all the way tznius, her
Shabbos isnt all the way Shabbos, her Kashrus,is not on my level; I like her, the chemistry
is there, the connection is there, the human, being is there; very, very special personbut
the observant level is not there. What, happened? He reaches out to me; this young
woman ends up going to Seminary in Eretz Yisrael, for like two years I dont know, neve
yerushalayim, midreshet, I dont remember, where she ends up. She comes back two years
later, hes still single and theyre on,the same observant plane, okay? Again, to
me thats another case where the facts on,the ground have changed. I would say yeah
revisit it, because the person is not the, same person that you went out with before.,One other example, this recently came my way:
a certain couple had gone out about a
