big Instagram crash has happened my,friends in fact depending on when you,watch this it's still happening millions,of users have reported either losing a,crazy amount of followers people getting,locked out of their account and lots of,people also got a notification that,their account got banned wow all of that,happened within the past five to six,hours some were able to reinstate their,accounts already but there's still a lot,of issues Instagram's own account which,is the biggest Instagram account there,is lost about one and a half million,followers in the past few hours Ronaldo,Cristiano Ronaldo which I believe is the,second biggest one lost three million so,something saw and at this point we don't,really know what's going on but let's,just quickly take a look at the info,that we have right now and let me tell,you some let me just put it that way,Insider information if you will know in,the industry I don't know any Insider,Insider things but I know the industry,having worked there for the past years,whatever let's start with the good thing,yeah first of all it seems like it's,unintentional right some sort of of,mistake on Instagram's and and because,of that most accounts that are affected,right now will get reinstated the issues,will most likely be gone for 99 of you,guys out there not talking about the,Bots our old friend Missouri by the way,the head of Instagram has just said that,they're working on it without any,further clarification and their official,Instagram Communications team also,issued a very brief statement about,what's actually going on yeah somebody's,getting fired today now in my opinion,there's some multiple things that could,be the culprit coming sort of from,inside the industry first of all it's,almost November which are usually,historically means they are getting,ready for the purge meaning uh they're,doing their yearly bot follower of,Cleanup in my agency we've always had,issues with this,um yeah back when we're still doing sort,of more the gray hat approach quite a,lot of issues with that once we actually,lost all of our clients because of this,yearly Purge in November and I used to,call this I said the instapocalypse that,was something was a very valuable lesson,for me we started diversifying the,agency side of things mostly switching,to Consulting with big Brands and stuff,like this I can make a video if you guys,are interested but if we take a look at,this thing every year they sort of,update their filters on who will get,deleted whose bot follower what's the,threshold are there more filters and,stuff like this might be that this time,preparing for the annual perch somebody,messed something up considering lots of,people actually got a message that they,were banned for going against their,Community guidelines so it could be this,the interesting thing is though that um,and I don't have the data yet but it,could be that the accounts that actually,got affected have a low trust score,already right now and they're sort of,hovering right on the edge I don't,really think so but you never know um a,lot of accounts also got this message,something I've sort of leaked about a,year ago already I guess or something,like this but basically Instagram trying,to counter Bots even more and suspicious,activity even more by having people have,a selfie or selfie verify their profile,with some code this whole thing might,have been a hiccup trying to roll this,thing out in the near future we don't,really know now another indicator that,it's really kind of something to do with,their spam detection uh filters,misfiring if you will is that it seems,like right now the data that I have,mostly iPhone users are affected talking,about getting their account disabled let,me know in the comments if that is the,case for you are you affected right now,did you lose followers or did your,account get even banned and if so what,kind of message did you get and do you,have an iPhone would be really,interesting right now obviously we can,only speculate but I really just wanted,to get this video right now ASAP maybe,calm you guys down a little bit my inbox,has been exploding I was just in a car,driving two hours but yeah don't worry,about it they're actively working on it,even though they don't really tell us,what's going on might be they don't,really know what's going on right now,the only thing you can do is sit back,anyway and sort of watch the world burn,I kinda love it to be honest once I know,more about this obviously I'll let you,guys know and in the meantime why don't,you use this a time off if you will,effectively by learning how to come back,and start crushing it on Instagram in,this video I actually show you five,different accounts and what they did to,get to 10 000 followers pretty fast if,you ask me so

welcome to another simple dad instagram,tutorial,in this video i'll talk about how to,resolve an issue with instagram where it,crashes when trying to open it,before moving on to the video i would,appreciate if you can let me know if,this video is helpful or not,you can do this by hitting the thumbs up,button or the thumbs down button,so if you're one of those people who are,facing issues with instagram where it,crashes then keep watching as i'll show,you how to resolve it,i have followed some of the steps and i,was able to resolve my issue,however there are still reports that,some accounts are facing this issue,so the very first step which you should,take to resolve this issue is to clear,cash on your phone this is only,applicable for android users for iphone,users you should skip this step and go,to the next step,for android users you can go into your,settings,then apps,then find instagram,and then tap on storage,then tap on clear cache from the bottom,now this will clear the cache from,instagram,after this you can go ahead and test out,your instagram and see if it's still,crashing,if it's still crashing then you should,move on to the second step,the second step which you can take is to,uninstall instagram and reinstall it,again,you can do this by going into your app,store or your play store to uninstall,and then install it back again,once you've done that go ahead and test,your instagram app,if the last two steps don't fix your,issue then on your phone or your,computer open up web browser and visit,the down detector website,search for instagram or click on,instagram if it's on the front page,and here you'll see if there is a global,outage or not,on this page you'll be able to see a,graph in which you can see where it has,peaked,if this is a global issue then you need,to wait until instagram resolves the,issue on their server,this could be a bug or a glitch in their,system,if you scroll down more you can see a,live outage map of exactly which city is,affected where you live,another way of confirming if this is a,global outage or not is to open up,twitter and search for instagram down,you should see people reporting what,issues they are having,majority of the post will be instagram,memes as instagram has been going down,many times in a month and people are,getting used to it,again if this is a global issue you'll,need to wait for instagram to resolve it,by themselves,it can take between 12 to 24 hours so,check back later,hopefully by following all the steps,which i have shown you helps you resolve,your issue with instagram,if this video was helpful then please,subscribe to see more videos like this,if you have any other questions and,please do let me know in the comment,section down below,thanks for watching and see you next one

to be affecting,people across the globe the site reports,that hundreds of people have complained,about being unable to access the app or,that it's running slow a spokesperson,for Instagram mentioned that it was down,and set we're aware that some people are,having trouble accessing Instagram,we're working to get things back to,normal as quickly as possible and we,apologize for any inconvenience the,spokesperson also confirmed that the,error was not caused by a distributed,denial of service DDOS attack which is,where hackers overwhelm a cider server,with malicious traffic in an attempt to,disrupt its operations,many people on Twitter joked about the,outage and shared memes about the issue,with that being said let's go through,some of the most common ways you might,be able to get your Instagram back up,and running at number one we have update,your app if your app is outdated it's,likely that the issue lies with,something in the code of the most recent,version,to update your app you'll need to go,through the Google Play store or Apple,App Store on your phone and look for,Instagram,if there's an option to update tap it,after that you should be able to access,Instagram enough talking let's kind of,jump into it and even if you're a,photographer like me and you don't have,a photo of yourself try this anyways i,did get one email from instagram,saying that they approved the video but,then there were some errors,i'm still doing it to this day so wish,me luck but let's jump right in i'm,doing this on an iphone it's kind of,similar on an android but let's kind of,walk you through it here we go you want,to go to add a new account,then that you want to click add a new,account and go to login to existing,account,and we are just going to jump right in,and type our username so i'm going to,walk you through this what i do for mine,jared quack bush,now this is my account that's still,hacked but i'm going to click forgot,password,now,you see where it says trouble logging in,enter your username or email and we'll,send you a link to get your account back,the problem is the link goes to the,email of the hacker not mine so we are,going to not click the next button which,is ridiculous because when you look at,this it makes you think oh let's click,the big blue button that says next no i,want you to click underneath that that,says need more help let's go,now you're going to see two accounts pop,up or your account pop up for me i have,my business account which is my personal,brand account jared quackenbush the one,i run it all through and then i have a a,private one that i've used just pictures,of my kids and food so you're going to,select the account,then,here's the crazy thing,the two phone numbers there are mine,but the email is there is the hacker not,mine but i'm going to send myself a,security code which you probably have,already done this before but don't worry,this is good news so we want to send,ourselves a security code,then we're going to type that in,boom confirm,now,this is where we get to the selfie video,next it wants you to enter your security,code which the hacker set up two-step,authentication so i can't so we are,going to go down to the bottom and click,try another way,now you're met with three options use,backup code,get support visit help center,we're going to click get support,a new page of options now i'm going to,click,my account was hacked,now i'm also going to click do you have,photos of yourself on your account yes,or no now i do have photos of myself in,my account but it's not until back in,like,the beginning of 2020 end of 2019 i have,photos of this face i just think the,the ai isn't going back that far which,really stinks or if they if the ai was,able to go to tagged photos,if you would see a ton of tacked photos,of me but,just not on my main feed so let's click,yes i have photos of myself on my,account,next,pause let's go back if you do hit no i,don't have photos of myself on this,account come inside inside good boy,yeah that will keep you busy while i,film that should keep the puppy,distracted for a little bit of time okay,guys welcome back to our channel if,you're new to our channel we are high,season a social media agency that helps,business owners entrepreneurs and,marketers step their social media game,up and break the algorithm today we are,going to talk about instagram engagement,oh and there is craig who's going to,join me shortly say hello uh we're going,to talk about instagram engagement,specifically why your engagement is,lower and it's not just you engagement,is down for many people but not for,everybody so we're going to talk about,why your engagement might be decreasing,where others might be increasing and,what you can do to get yourself leveled,up let's get started hey guys just,jumping in here with tiff so,the engagement it's actually something,we're getting a lot of comments about,yeah so i'm glad that we're doing this,video now so there's a number of reasons,why engagement is lower on instagram,first and foremost there's a lot more,competition now before instagram you,know maybe in the last five years it's,kind of like you know ran things yeah,you know twitter was a bit of,competition for a while on facebook,maybe but nothing really came close,until recently so now attention has been,spread more and so there's less chance,of your content actually hitting,people's eyeballs so it's something you,do need to think about as far as your,optimization to make sure that when they,are on the app your content is showing,up first and foremost in their feeds,exactly and then on that note when we're,talking about optimization that's also,considering another major reason why,reach and engagement is decreasing is,because certain pieces of content so,certain features are being prioritized,over others it's true hello reels you,know like come on if you're on the app,at this point in time you already see it,your feed is all reels right like most,live gates all reels royals is even full,screen,actually since we last spoke about it we,need to do an updated features video,like an updated instagram uh updates,video series just dropped one yesterday,because it of course yeah,can't keep up with the gun you always,have noticed if it hasn't hit your,account by now but the actual video off,video is dead it's only a reels tab now,so that's how important reels are so,because reels are being prioritized over,other pieces of content like carousels,like traditional static posts that's why,you're seeing a decrease if you're not,using reels so you really have to think,about the ways that you can incorporate,reels into your strategy without using,your face or any of these things that,might be preventing you from creating,them yeah exactly and also another,reason your posts aren't getting a lot,of reach is the non-following content,you may have noticed like sometimes like,i submit like 50 to 80 of my feeds in,some of the accounts i'm on are the,non-following contests particularly the,newer one we just got an instagram,account for barrington for a pub and his,account you start from the beginning and,it's just all these other dog accounts,yeah we're not following yeah so these,non-following things which are you know,an attempt by instagram to get you just,to have more engagement in the feed and,you know discover new things helping,discovery but it's not really helping,your content get out there as much,because it's just less places in the,feed for it to go exactly why,optimization is more key because you,might not be showing up in front of your,followers like back in the day when,every time you posted something it,literally went out to your followers and,they saw it now you need to rely more on,discovery opportunities to bring people,over exactly,now with all that being said you know,all the reasons why your engagement is,decreasing it doesn't mean this is the,end and you need to close down your,instagram account there are still,opportunities to increase your,engagement we've been doing this across,our clients and ourselves as well so,we're gonna break down how you can,optimize and also create content that,improves your opportunity to reach more,people and increase your engagement the,first one is obviously use reels i don't,know how many times,we've needed to say it when instagram,themselves are saying not that they're,always correct they work kind of off,with the hashtags but when they're,saying it yeah essentially change the,app to their own version of tick tock,there's almost no point doing anything,about reels at the moment so i know a,lot of people get a little,nervous perhaps about approaching reels,because of this exact problem of the,lack of engagement and the lack of reach,so we want to just suggest a few ideas,that you can try,on your content just to make sure that,you know you're doing everything that,you can and i'm doing this every single,day in the in the comments when people,mention it i'm saying
