hi guys welcome back to my channel thank,you so so much for being here uh just,thank you today I'm gonna be talking,about a little bit of a controversial,topic that is posting nudes on Instagram,I do it why do I do it I get a lot of,dams and sometimes angry comments about,my naked pictures or my half-naked,pictures on Instagram it definitely has,become a lot more of a trend this year,with a bunch of celebs or whatever,posting nudes and I'll answer some of,those here I think Justin Bieber posted,one obviously Kim Kardashian posted one,it was controversial II know she's a,mother of two people were saying your,kids must be so embarrassed all this, okay I personally support it,and love it so much I like that women,are taking control of how their bodies,are portrayed and they are loving,themselves and just feeling confident,being naked and there's so many amazing,a body positive accounts on Instagram,women showing their stretch marks or,their cellulite or their discoloration,on their skin or just their body hair,and I love that so much it's just making,the human body it seem so natural and,representing it for how it actually,looks unlike you know advertisements and,super famous Instagram models who,Photoshop their photos and retouch,everything and look perfect I think that,the average person is taking control of,that and showing their bodies how they,really are and setting some more,realistic beauty standards that being,said the negative side is that there are,people who will post pictures of,themselves their nudes and they will,also face to men they'll also Photoshop,them and just add to that like societal,pressure and unrealistic beauty,standards and that makes me really sad,I know they're like some vegan youtubers,who do that and I'm just like come on,girl like you are so beautiful and you,don't need to fall into that I,understand that it's like really hard to,feel okay and good enough and you want,to just part of you wants to be in this,ideal like body type and be the,prototype but I just think that that,really sets us back when we're faced,tuning our photos or editing out,different flaws,anyways I have seen a lot of really real,bodies on Instagram lately and it makes,me really really happy I know that the,people posting them aren't doing it for,validation they're just doing it to,share what their body actually looks,like and I think that's really powerful,and important and that's kind of why I,do it so the reason I posted toots is,for artistic value I think that the,human body is so beautiful and I'm also,a nudist and I like to spread my beliefs,on that nudism and just being naked in,the forest and outside it makes me,really happy I'm a nudist because it it,feels natural it feels liberating and,also gets rid of this barrier that or,this label or identification that we all,fall into because of society just like,what we wear we choose our style and we,can identify ourselves as a certain,thing we're edgy we're boho we're email,were Gogh were like girly whatever it is,we wear clothes and that is a way that,we identify yourselves or label,ourselves or decide this is who we are,so when I'm naked in the woods it's,great because I'm just completely,stripped of that and I am in my most,natural form I'm a human being and I'm,an animal and I'm barefoot on the ground,and I'm with other people other women,who also feel the same way and it's just,like it brings us back to our roots it's,really grounding because it just reminds,us that oh we're just like humans and,then we get all these like material,items and it just confuses us but being,naked alone wonder with other people in,the woods it just it's it's like eye,opening it is enlightening it feels,natural and it feels right and it feels,so good when the Sun is just beaming on,your bare skin I know in other countries,it's way more natural just to be naked,all the time to be like tanning naked I,went to Mexico I went to Europe and,women were just tanning completely naked,and it wasn't a big deal guys weren't,like staring at them like being creepy I,know that that could never happen in,certain parts of the US but I really,find that so admirable and beautiful and,so natural and it made me so happy,seeing that's just what I really enjoyed,doing so that's I guess the main reason,why I post nudes on Instagram I have,many recently because it's been really,cold and I haven't been you know naked,outside and I will probably be walking,around naked in the florists when I'm 60,years old and who knows our plight I,take some pictures of myself then it's,not about validation at all and another,negative signs that I think some girls,see other women posting these photos and,think oh I'm going to post this photo of,myself and get likes and then people,start to rely on the likes and what,people say back to give them confidence,so it can become like a negative thing,in that regard but for the most part if,you're just confident about your body,and you just want to share that and,share your

the,stuff about nudity now what she wrote uh,beneath it which you can see it about,there she says if a man post a photo of,his nipples it's okay but not a woman,are we in 1825 okay now let's look at,her next Instagram post she did it again,she doubled down and said I'm gonna try,this again and again it was without our,fancy red bar right there and Instagram,once again oh and she wrote on on the,bottom if Instagram takes this down,again you're saying Vladimir Putin has,more First Amendment rights than me talk,to your bosses and of course what,Instagram do they took that down after,fifty five minutes uh so I think there's,a lot of interesting stuff here uh first,off no thanks necessary for getting rid,of poutine sniffles um you know Twitter,is the one that allows nudity I've had,to unfollow some people that,occasionally were posting nudie because,every now a new jacket,uh because no because every now and,again if I if I'm flipping on Twitter,publicly in some weird nude thing comes,up like I can't have that popping up uh,but apparently someone told me there is,a filtered even get that Emily but the,point is that Facebook doesn't allow it,YouTube doesn't allow it instagram,doesn't how Twitter does allow it look,we live in a time where everyone's naked,stuff is out there and webcams and all,that stuff so are these sites just,behind the times like what is Instagram,I'm really trying to prove here I don't,know if sites are behind the time like I,you know I I love men okay I love you,you're great but this is like a weird,man thing that goes on here ahead so this,isn't a First Amendment issue it's a,political correctness issue or something,like that,the larger discussions yeah that's,actually Oh like I've seen men with like,many men with larger taking her clothes off,in the name of empowerment.,And it's making me a little bit nuts.,"Mayim, you're just a prude.","Mayim, you're just jealous,"because you're not a skinny model.","Mayim, you're sexy-shaming.","May-em, you're fat-shaming.",Um, first of all, it's Mayim.,And second of all, I'm not a prude.,While I may be socially conservative,and I prefer that intimacy,
for the most part,,be a private matter,,I understand that we live in a culture,that celebrates sexuality,,and that sexuality is
beautiful and healthy.,And I'm not gonna lie,,I have spent some of my
life wishing I was pretty,and skinny like other women,,but I'm not constitutionally
jealous of women.,I'm mature enough to separate
my issues and insecurities,from the issues that I have
surrounding women disrobing,in the name of empowerment.,The positive aspects of this uptick,in women taking off their
clothes are several-fold.,When plus-sized models show themselves,as desirable and beautiful,,it opens up our society's
notions of beauty,,and that's a good thing.,Many people do have rounder bodies,,and it's a wonderful thing,to celebrate women who actually exist.,In addition, many women
who have felt shame,about their bodies not being model-perfect,are seeing that bigger women can,and should be celebrated for their beauty.,This is empowering a lot of women,to feel more comfortable
in their relationships,and their lives.,Also a good thing.,So what's Mayim so upset about now?,Almost all of the models I see,embracing their curves and
talking about female empowerment,are doing so by getting naked.,And some prominent actresses and athletes,,many of whom are known
to inspire young girls,to use their brains and their strength,as a form of empowerment,,are following suit with
the same narrative.,So what's wrong with this?,Well, I think the trap
that we're falling into,is that we start to equate empowerment,not with strength or
intelligence or confidence,,but with sexiness.,So even if you are an athlete
or an actor or a scientist,or any kind of accomplished,
intelligent woman,,the message that we're sending,,especially to young girls,,is above all else be sexy.,And no matter what you accomplish
or achieve or stand for,,what really matters most is to be featured,on the pages of a magazine,that typically displays women who are paid,to maintain a sexy appearance.,The message is, I should be celebrated,,and the way that I do that,is by presenting myself
as a sexualized object.,We live in a culture so confused
about how to treat women,,a culture where sexual assault
and rape are an epidemic,,a culture where pornography
presents an unrealistic,and often disturbing view of women.,It should not be taken lightly,that the message to present
yourself as sexy and desirable,may have more of an impact
on young women than intended,,especially when it comes from women,who make their living being beautiful,,with the help of makeup artists,,hair extensions, airbrushing,,and in many cases a lifestyle of trainers,,chefs, and plastic surgery.,We tell girls not to send sexy
pictures and texts to boys.,We tell them not to trust
strange people on the internet.,We warn girls that men may only
be interested in using women,for what we can give them sexually.,We tell young girls that they
are beautiful for being smart,,and that they should
be celebrated for that.,And we even remind people
when they meet a young girl,to try not to comment on
what her dress looks like,or how pretty she is.,We have an awareness of the dangers,of emphasizing a young
girl's attractiveness,or external appearance.,And yet many of the women
these young girls look up to,are now presenting sexiness as empowering.,It's confusing to me as an adult.,I mean, why wouldn't it be
confusing to a young girl?,Obviously, getting undressed
for the cover of a magazine,is your choice to make,,and no one can take that away from you.,But because you're choosing
in the context of a society,that worships women who are sexualized,,the choices are somewhat limited.,That's what patriarchy means.,You can blame the patriarchy.,And beyond choice,,there's an element of responsibility here,,a responsibility to
demonstrate to young girls,that sexiness is not
the end all and be all,of your existence as a woman.,Posing naked or next-to-naked,implies that you seek to be revered,,for that esteemed role in society,that rewards women with money and fame,and Instagram followers
simply for being sexy.,So what's my solution?,Continue to tell young girls,that their bodies are special and amazing.,Encourage girls not to fear
their bodies or their sexuality.,Be explicit that no one
has the right to touch you,in a way you don't wanna be touched,,no matter how you're dressed.,But we also need to emphasize
to girls and young women,that while there is nothing
wrong with beauty or sexiness,,getting naked is not the only way,to feel e

hi,guys uh i'm neelam uh,i'm here to discuss uh the various,aspects of,paintings and art uh with an art curator,mr ravindra madhya,he has been curating a lot of exhibition,shows,in various parts of um till the time,let me just brief you about,the kind of work we do i'm an abstract,and,contemporary painter and mr madhya is,a very well known um as i said um,curator and i guess he's online let yourself uh to,our audience,yes yes,please go ahead sir i have given a short,introduction about me and you,you can also uh talk about the kind of,work we do here,well uh this is being organized on,behalf of,international creative arts center icac,and we have beat into art for,almost 10 years basically,this is an ngo where,we promote art and artists,now today's subject that,we have thought of that what is the,impact of nude art,and whether it is beneficial or not,it's wise or virtue,yes i've been observing your art,or your paintings since past nearly 10,years,you've been drawing beautiful nudes,thank you for quite some time and uh,till now of several paintings that i've,seen of yours,i've never found anything obscene or,dirty,therefore i would like to know how do,you,create such paintings and what,makes you draw nudes,um so nudes is something uh,i have as you said i've been drawing,them from uh quite a long time now,and it is uh not that uh i only want to,draw nudes,uh i don't use because so,you know there is a connection of inner,beauty with human body,so it is a way of expressing the,emotions the thoughts the skills,and you know there is always always a,spirit,which we want to show it's not only,about the naked body so there's a,difference,uh there's a difference between a nude,and a naked uh,art um i guess that is one reason and i,enjoy expressing,uh my thoughts with that form,great,what is the logic behind painting news,sir uh you cannot uh understand,uh expressions or uh,you know the spirit of body when it is,clothed or draped,uh it can only be expressed when it is,in a very natural form,so that's one reason that nude is the,purest form of,expression see that's correct,i agree with it but what actually,inspires you or what uh actual benefits,do you gain,out of creating nudes,so uh my nudes you have you must be,seeing them they,are not a very beautiful uh,nudes of a very beautiful figure they're,always,on a flatter side uh you know the fat,bodies,uh with lot of skin on that so,um i have been observing uh,these kind of bodies i myself is on a,heavier side,and i have been observing that drawing a,perfect figure is,the easiest thing because that's what,has been taught in art colleges and,our institutions however we don't,uh look at you know the other body types,so uh for me drawing uh fat figures,is really difficult because,um and i got inspired by myself honestly,because uh,no i'm sure nobody would uh you know a,person who wants to create a beautiful,art,they don't want to create a body like,this because that's not acceptable,our society is such so i thought why not,me because that's what i,am if i will not be able to express,myself then,who will do that for me very correct,very correct,yeah so that is what uh,like uh i would like you to explain,what is the basic difference between,nudity in art and new indian pornography,most of the people who see nudes are,inclined to,think that it is something more towards,pornography,and less towards art,so uh first of all i would appreciate,between a pornography,and art sir uh,it's it's so uh okay so nudity is,something um you know,i don't know the difference lies in the,individual's perception,and interpretation of the subject so it,is important to note that,nudity in art is intended to people,appreciate the beauty of the human body,and uh is something not for the arousal,or,it's it's not for something you know,it's not obscene,however pornography on the other side is,intended to arouse the sexual feelings,of individuals and models actually pose,in such a way that their expression,conveys sexuality,and eroticism however in nude art,we we try to uh actually depict the,emotions,it's something which is at least we,don't find it um,you know obscene or sexually uh,you know related to sexuality there's,nothing like that so,totally depends on an individual's,perception,and people can get aroused with anything,nowadays i see people even looking at a,small body part they can get around,so it's totally up to them and i guess,nowadays we are mature enough to handle,uh,nudity in a very nice way people are,accepting it,but uh i guess that is the
