INSTAGRAM 3D POPOUT TUTORIAL - Photography Ideas (Full SHOOT & EDIT with Photoshop 2020)
this is your friendly neighborhood,spider-man,create insane 3d pop-out images on,Instagram here's how play tape okay can,I get makeup hey team, welcome back to the channel so obviously,I'm not spider-man but how cool would, that actually be and I can't physically, climb walls but metaphorically speaking,we are in Kovan lockdown - listen team a,big shout out and thank you for all the, support on my first video all my new, subscribers, you rock dudes so the wonderful world of,Instagram back in June of last year when,I had a very respectable 400 followers I,decided to trial,my very first 3d pop hat image the post, did pretty good I got lots of nice, comments I got more likes and followers, and I've got a bunch of new followers to,boot hey fast forward 4 months to,October and I just tiptoed over the,1,000 followers checkpoint I posted my,second 3d popper image and everything, changed I got well over six thousand, likes 95 thousand impressions,it was reposted by other accounts,fifty-two times big ones - got me four, thousand new followers and inspired, other creators to do the same I'm going,to show you how I did it I need you and,you ok camera settings were an aperture,f11 shutter speed 160 eighth of a second, because I'm not doing anything too fast, moving in ISO 100 for maximum, immediately okay so other gear we've got,a scrim this is to reduce the harshness,of a sunlight it's on a regular light, stand with an a sandbag so we don't blow, away, that is a reflector, break it down switch to live view the, cursor the focus box over to where your, face is going to be or do it the,old-fashioned way measure the distance, between the object and lens they all, dial in the distance using the focusing, distance indicator with the 24,millimeter lens in portrait orientation, favor an angle shooting slightly from, below this will add to the believability,of hanging from then position yourself,on the edge of the chair nearest to the, camera using a remote control on a two, second timer fire off a couple of shots,so welcome back to the editing suite, right so the original idea for this,Instagram post was that I wanted to,somehow reach outside of the image and, into the text part of the post and this, creative fairy dust sprinkled all over,me and I have the idea of actually, interacting with one of the buttons, ideally I wanted it to be the like, button okay so I've got my image open in,Photoshop I'm just going to create a,copy of the background layer by ctrl or,command J and we'll take the pen tool, and we're going to create a path around,me and the wall, just gonna whisk through this, okay that's great now we're going to,make a selection at one pixel radius and, okay that and then we're going to create,a layer mask and just underneath this, layer we're going to add a new layer and,we're gonna add a fill color so we can,see the selection a bit clearer I like, this green color okay to that brilliant,so we just need to tidy up the areas, that weren't masked out so I'm going to,use the quick selection tool just going,to select this part of the wall here, section here and this section here and,we're just going to make sure that, everything is selected properly around, the laces okay now select the mask and, then we're going to go to edit fill and, choose black because black conceals, and we just need to tidy up some of,these little tiny little areas so we're,gonna choose a hard edge brush quite, small and foreground color is black,we're just gonna fill in these in what, areas here I'm just going to wish, through this section, okay to make this look convincing as a,kind of climbing up the tower block,spider-man kind of vibe we need to get a,background image that suggests being up,high choose a picture on free stock, image like pixels calm this one is,perfect, and then we're going to import it into, our picture our main image just place it,and we're just going to bring the layer, underneath the main layer rename it city,or position it's just nicely behind me,so there's a bit of separation and get,the horizon line so it's believable and,we'll rename this mark 4 that is my name, now we're going to just straighten up,the vertical angle of this image so,choose a new guide vertically and then,we're going to place it over where the, line of the wall is then we'll just use,the transform tool, line it up okay so we just need to sort, out this bum area which looks a little, deformed so we're going to create a copy,of the mark layer and what we want to do,is stamp down the image and the mask so,we can manipulate the image so how we do,that is by applying the layer mask, now we can manipulate the image so we,head up to filter and liquify and with, the top button selected which is a,forward warp tool we can start nudging, the shape of the bum so it looks like,we're not sat on it on a stool and a,little before and after and that looks, pretty good to me so next up is we want,to blur the background to create some, depth create a copy of the city layer, then we'll go to blur Gaussian blur and,we'll add a radius

Hear New York City in 3D audio
hey you should wear headphones for this,it's gonna be pretty cool I mean it'll,be cool without them but trust me it'll,be a lot more cool if you put on,headphones a couple years ago I was on,the internet looking at pictures of,Radiohead in the studio because look at,me of course this guy's on the internet, looking at pictures of Radiohead in the, studio and I came across this picture of,Thom Yorke the lead singer playing piano, with this little mannequin head with a,hat on and little audio cables coming, out the ends of it and I was like what,is this thing, luckily there's an even nerdier person,on another Radiohead site who was like, this is a binaural microphone it's a,special type of microphone that has two, microphones embedded in the ears and, when played back on headphones it will, sound like Thom Yorke is in the room, with you playing piano just for you this, blew my mind I got extremely into, binaural audio and guess what listen to,this this is binaural audio right now if,you're wearing headphones, over here there's people walking on the, other side you should you get at car, honk, maybe they'll replace that in space cut,the other camera so well how we're doing, this is with this other microphone it's,not a mannequin head this is made by,three do and check this out get a little, close here so this looks like a real ear,and it actually flexes like a real ear,so it looks kind of funny but it,actually plays an important role and the,way we hear things before the sound gets, the microphone it bounces around all, these little surfaces and shapes sound,in the same way your ear would shape, sound before it reaches your eardrum, hello my dear you should be hearing me,on your left side right now and now you, should be hearing me on your right side,my dear initial googling zuv the keyword, binaural will lead to some goofy results, the most popular being binaural beats, now these aren't recorded with a,binaural mic they're just different, tones in different years meant to elicit, such things as creativity sleep, concentration sexual stimulation opening, your third eye all kinds of stuff it's,not really science but it is,pseudoscience and if you believe in it,hard enough maybe the placebo effect, will kick in,do you feel your third-eye opening but,by far the most popular form of real, binaural recording comes in the form of,ASMR videos you know those videos where, people crinkle paper or talk very softly, please for some people this triggers a,very pleasurable tingly feeling the, virtual barbershop is a classic follow,me as I move around the back of the head,to the left then there's also ASMR,unboxing videos there's tons of these, and then there's this guy this guy is,very cool he has so many views I'm,pretty sure this is his job oh my god,but let's get deeper into the science of,vinyl the same way we use two eyes to,see in 3d we also use two ears to hear,in 3d the way we do that is arrival time, loudness and frequency range or Tambor,so when my girlfriend's bird chirps it,arrives first in the right ear and then,a tiny fraction of a second later it,arrives in the left ear not only that, but it should be a little bit louder in,the right side finally the timbre or,distortion of that sound wave through, the space bouncing off the walls around, your head and when that sound finally, arrives in each ear,the shape of the sound has changed so,much that the difference between the, same sound of the left ear and the right, ear can tell us where it came from, that's why things like distance between, ears their shape and the density of the, material between them is so important,I know you're probably thinking what, about 5.1 audio yes 5.1 is immersive but,it's not exactly the same let's say, you're watching a movie and an explosion, happens on the left side of the screen,it's been paired with the sound of that, explosion coming out of the left speaker, wow that's a very cool effect it's still, not by normal Dolby 5.1 and Dolby Atmos, can't replicate it even though they're,so complicated, really for binaural recording you just, need those microphones to simulate human, hearing and a left and right channel and,the thing is this isn't even a new idea, people have been using techniques like, this since the late 1800s,look at this lady but binaural audio has, grown in popularity due to one huge, thing VR virtual reality right now VR,headsets do a pretty good job of,tricking our eyes but they usually, ignore our ears the good news is that's,changing pretty fast there are a decent, number of companies working on not only,on aural microphones but also the, software that simulates binaural audio, for virtual spaces and there are a few, tests of this concept floating around, the internet one of the most impressive, was this virtual Beck performance where, they made this 360-degrees stage and, covered it in not only here on at sixty, degree cameras but also tons of these,Omni binaural microphone heads using, face tracking the video and audio, followed the movement of your head it,worked out pretty well

Markforged IPO: 3D Printing the New York Stock Exchange Bell for Listing Day
Markforged IPO: 3D Printing the New York Stock Exchange Bell for Listing Day
It is a time-honored tradition...,There's the opening S&P 500...,The ringing of the opening and closing
bells at the New York Stock Exchange.,100 million people watch the
opening and closing bells each day,Markforged a leader in continuous carbon
fiber 3D printing are preparing to go public.,We thought that we wanted to go big.,The plan is to 3D print our own version of
the bell in metal so when we go public we're ,actually going to be bringing our
own bell built with our technology.,We have the ability to print things out of
metal and continuous composites, these are ,structural components so printing our own bell
that we can bring on the day of the IPO is ,the most Markforged way to go public.,The Markforged team has entered the trading floor ,and everyone is waiting to get a look
at what these engineers have created.,Hey it's Ross here from Markforged. We are in ,heart of New York here to
reverse engineer the ticker bell.,My role in 3D printing the bell
is to execute on the design.,The first step was flying down
to the New York Stock Exchange, ,walking up to the bell and then
create a one for one replica.,The original bell is iconic.
It's quite an elegant design ,and it's been sitting inside
that exchange for years.,Not only are we going to ring this bell at the
moment we become a publicly traded company, ,but it is going to be living inside the New
York Stock Exchange for the rest of history.,Let's hope I don't screw up.,When people think about 3D printing,
they usually think about these ,desktop plastic printers
that they're using to print ,Yoda heads or or little desktop tchotchkes.
But Markforged what we actually have built is, ,I mean you could print the Yoda head,
it would just be out of stainless steel.,This is a part that's made out of steel
and started out on these printers.,Literally it comes off the printer and a
day later we have like a sintered and ready ,metal part which is kind of unheard
of in terms of turnaround time.,We invented a box that you can put your idea into ,and out the other side comes a part that
you can actually use made out of carbon ,fiber or stainless steel or copper or inconel
or kevlar that you can then take and put onto ,your robot or onto your factory floor
or into your product and then ship it.,Markforged is involved in anything and everything.
From the automotive industry all the way to the ,aerospace industry to biomedical to mom and pop
machine shops that are making bolts or anything.,You know someone's making something,
there's room for a 3D printer ,and there's room for a 3D printer
there's room for a Markforged system.,So i just wanted to show you a bit of an idea,I don't even know if i can ,build a raft on this either but we can make
the raft smaller like without even any offset.,We came up with a small team to
streamline the design process.,I mean we get we probably get two
maybe three cracks at this and then,I'm a little worried about it I because I
want whatever we do to be visually stunning.,Yeah i know you're saying I am a little
nervous though like as far as risk goes...,As we were going through the design process,
it dawned on us that we shouldn't just copy it, ,we should do something that really
captivates the Markforged technology ,and is something that only our technology
can actually physically produce.,We're leveraging all our technology
to make this bell happen and really ,showcase what our printers can do.,We wanted something that could highlight our ,capabilities as well as our
ability to design and think.,So we came up with this new design this design
isn't like any bell that you've seen before.,It's split up into six different components, ,which is a nod to our logo which
consists of a six-sided hexagon.,The bell itself is going to be made out of a whole
suite of materials that Markforged uses every day:,17-4 stainless steel,,a copper button head cap with
our logo front and center,,the onyx base reinforced with the carbon fiber ,to ensure it's strong enough to
stay up for the rest of history.,We need to get this design perfect
because it's going to live there forever.,The date's coming up soon and the pressure is on ,but we work with tight deadlines around
here that's what Markforged really does ,we push the limit on technology and
on getting things out the door fast.,We've finally hit the point
where the bell is printing ,and now it's up to the printer to do the rest.,It's got roughly 1500 layers to print, we're
looking at a very tight deadline. We have some ,more work to do, everything's
gonna be fine. It'll be fine.,So if we were to machine this bell
out of a massive billet of steel, ,first we would have to wait weeks if not
months just to get that massive piece of steel.,From there, we would have to get the
special cutting tools to remove the material ,and arrive at the final shape.,And if any issues occurred
during this stage of the process, ,we would ha

[Blender] Modeling 3D New York Diorama w/ Julianna Lebedeva | Part 1: Sketching Composition of Scene
[Blender] Modeling 3D New York Diorama w/ Julianna Lebedeva | Part 1: Sketching Composition of Scene
hey everyone i'm julie i'm a 3d artist, and i stream 3d modelling on twitch, today i'm going to show you how i made, this isometric new york inspired diorama,in this video we're going to be,sketching out the composition of the, scene i wanted to start this tutorial by,mentioning the first and a very, important part of making a project like, this gathering references these are some,of the references i used for this, project,i just saved most new york things i,could think of like a typical new york, apartment building subway subway station, subway train new york taxi new york park, you don't realize how little you, remember about what the real world looks, like before you start recreating it in,3d,so that's why i think references are, crucial here i'm starting to make four, floating islands that are gonna have, different distinctly new york things on,them in the bottom right corner you will, notice the shortcuts i'm using for, example here you can see me pressing, ctrl ff instead of going to the face, menu and pressing extrude faces along, normals, utilizing shortcuts is definitely the, best and intended way to use blender to,make an object look smooth in blender, you need to right click on the object, shade smooth go to object data, properties in normals enable autosmooth, and enter a number and here you'll see,me do the same thing using just one, shortcut i'm gonna do that a lot in this, video this is because i'm using custom, made add-on that makes accessing, operators i use a lot easier so,everything i'm gonna do this way you can, also do in blender without this add-on i,almost never sketch out my ideas into d,this days i go directly to blender and, start blocking out the scene while i'm,working on composition i find it really, useful to have the final image in mind, that's why i tried to set up a camera as,early as possible at this stage i used, simple placeholder graphics to block out,the entire scene without adding too much, detail to any single object i'm working,on the composition first otherwise i,risk spending time detailing objects, that might not work together as a whole,so on this stage i'm trying to keep, models as simple as possible in this, case i just want to decide where the, building is going to go how tall it's,gonna be and an overall shape of the, building and then move on to the next, object another thing i try to figure out, early on is scale human scale how tall, would a human be in the scene knowing, that doesn't stop you from exaggerating, the proportions of course if you're,going for a stylized look that's,actually what i'm going for here you see,my main portfolio website is instagram,so i think about what my work is going,to look like there when i'm making it,that's why i try not to add too many, details that you won't be able to see, there i'm a big fan of making more, things instead of making one perfect, thing especially when you're learning, because your 10th project is going to be,that much better than your first one so,why delay making it as one of my,favorite youtube videos taught me fail, faster, here i'm starting to make a new object a,hotdog stand and what you just saw me do,is copy an existing face from an object, and separated rather than make a new, plane,i usually do that because it's faster, than creating a new object because that, requires moving the 3d cursor in the, correct place first, here you just saw me add a circle to the, center of the face,i did it using the add-on i mentioned, earlier but you can do it without any,add-ons of course so let me show you how,to do that let's say you want to create,a circle on this face select the face, press shift s and drag the mouse down, snap to axis perpendicular to the face, create a circle in the redo menu change,a line from world to view and we have a,circle in the center of the face, you've probably noticed that just now i,suggested using alt middle mouse button, for snapping to an axis instead of,pressing a number on a numpad that's,because i rarely use numpad because i,try to do as many things as i can with,my left hand and blender so that my,right hand always stays on the mouse, that's just much faster and eventually, your left hand develops muscle memory so,you don't have to look at the keyboard, and,it just presses things magically just, like touch typing works you know trying,to be fast when modeling is not, necessary at all but it's very, convenient at least i find it convenient, especially when you want to quickly, sketch your initial idea i've heard, people say that they find blender, unintuitive because of how much it,relies on your knowledge of hotkeys i,personally feel the opposite because, with time these hotkeys become second, nature and nothing is stopping you, anymore from making your ideas come to,life almost instantly so it doesn't take, that much effort to make things and you,can spend more time on designing things, speaking of making things more, efficiently bye man is in my tweet chat,i see a lot of beginners asking how to,do things that i use by menus for so i,wanted to show y

New York Balance Kits | US STEM CLUB | STEM | 3D Printed Kits
New York Balance Kits | US STEM CLUB | STEM | 3D Printed Kits
hi there it's Hannah I'm going to talk,to you today about our New York balance, kits we have our traditional New York, balance kit and our extended New York, balance kit which combines all of the, pieces of the New York balance kit with, some additional supplies that will then, allow you to do not just type 1 levers, but also types two and three with any of,these kits these are a really good, chance to talk about simple machines and, mechanical advantage specifically in,regard to lovers so with the New York, balance kit you get a chance to talk, about a type 1 lever and you can even, discuss proportional reasoning and, investigate equality in elementary, school to start by collecting three, number two pencils and these two pieces,Slide the pencils into the base of the, fulcrum rest and lock them in place, using the pencil stand that hooks right, there onto each of the three pencils add, your fulcrum as you can see it sets, right on top of the fulcrum rest and, balances there use a meter stick to be,the crossbar so I can put it in test it,out and move it until I'm sure that it,is sent sitting perfectly level at what,it is because then considered the zero,Mark and base all of my other, adjustments from there once you've got, your New York balance set up you can, then place a weight holder, anywhere on the meter stick but then you,can challenge your students with, different things let your students do,this open-ended experimentation where, they have different challenges where, maybe they have to balance, two on one side with one on the other, and then depending on the level of your, students you can get into the science, and the math behind this and how lover, arms are have a greater force the, further it is from the fulcrum one of,the other activities you can do with the,New York balance kit in elementary, school is to discuss equality and help, the students get a visual, picture of what equality is by using, addition and multiplication to do that, you're going to want to hide what the, meter stick shows use masking tape or,painters tape as I have here and cover, the numbers on the meter stick,my fulcrum point for my zero on this, particular meter stick is 50.2,centimeters so I'm going to fold the, tape over and label that zero, measure out in each Direction four, centimeter increments and label them one, through ten as they get farther away, from the zero once you've done all the, labeling secure the tape firmly to the, meter stick, now you're ready to discuss equality, with your elementary students I could, line this up with, two plus three,on one side and what would that equal on,the other side is a five, and if I were to say two times two plus, three now I have to adjust this on the, other side to equal seven so this is a,really good math case that's also, integrating all the science principles, and all the science Concepts that you, would do with the New York balance only, now it's been simplified to make it easy,to understand at an elementary level, let's transition from here and start, talking about how to build type 2 and 3,levers using the extended New York, balance kit and we're going to start, that by building a meter stick station, start by inserting the unsharpened end,of the pencil into the bottom three, openings, you can do the same thing with this top, piece next insert your meter stick and,do so through the top,and then through the bottom being sure,to line up the pencils,so we take these last little pencil, angle pieces and we take the short side, and snap it onto the bottom pencil, and the long side snaps onto the top, pencil now for this kit it requires two,so simply repeat the process for a,second one and that will allow you to,then build the meter stick station to do,that grab two medium binder clips and, secure them at the same height,on each of the two meter sticks then, take your crossbar pieces and slide them, over the top take a third meter stick, and slide it through each of the, crossbar pieces to create an h-shaped,setup,to do a type 2 lever, you're going to attach the fulcrum,to the very end of your meter stick take, the white holes and place one on the far, side and one on this end of your, crossbar piece of the meter stick, station attach your spring scale to this, place the fulcrum onto the fulcrum rest, and secure the bottom of the spring, scale here, with a type 2 lever you can then add the, weights to anywhere along the center, between the fulcrum and the upward Force,in this case a spring scale,or slide them and see how the same, amount of weight, can adjust the reading depending on how, close or far they are from the fulcrum, and you can use the measurements built,in right on your meter stick to tell how,far that is to do a Type 3 lever slide, the spring scale connector, into the center,of your two meter stick vertical stands, slide this connection piece also into, the center make sure these are lined up,and then Loop it on the same way you did, with the type 2 lever then you get to,add your weight to the other end,of the lever arms to where it is,actually on the ot
