hey guys it's ryan here with another,tutorial today i'm going to be showing,you a few options for how to fix when,your instagram filters are not showing,up for your story,so you know if you've seen this before,when you press the add button sometimes,filters,let's see you press the add button,sometimes your story filters don't,appear like they do right here on the,bottom of my screen,so if you're not seeing these then,something's going on whether or not it,is,going to be,the app itself not updating or the,region you're in so i'm going to talk,you through a few quick fixes,all right so in instagram,what we're going to do is first of all,scroll all the way up to add to our,story,and select this icon your story on the,left right below the instagram slogan,and select camera,so sometimes for some reason when you,try to add a new post from that plus,button,it will not give you the option to have,these filters but if you select add,directly to your story it'll bypass that,and give you some options however if,that's not working what we're going to,have to do,is refresh the instagram and clear the,catch so actually what you're going to,do is exit out of instagram,go to your settings,and then go to,general once you're in general you're,going to scroll down to where you see,iphone storage and select iphone storage,and then scroll all the way down to,instagram which should be on the bottom,as it's alphabetical,all right from here what we're going to,do is offload the app the button we see,in blue,and select offload,then select offload out,and just give it a few seconds,and once we've offloaded the app now,we're just going to reinstall the app so,select this button,all right now that our app is,reinstalled we can go back to instagram,and check if,we're able to add our filters,all right great,all right so that is going to be the,often catch-all solution but if you're,still not seeing certain either certain,filters that you want or specific,filters maybe that you're seeing some,friends have,it's important to know that some filters,in instagram are only available in,certain regions so if you're in the us,and canada there's a lot of filters,available just to those regions versus,asia and kind of broader and eastern,countries so,that's going to be important to know,sometimes instagram just,has a struggle loading,and so if you've reinstalled and,installed like we have,then uh sometimes you'll just need to,refresh the app by closing it out and,restarting it,but this has been how to fix instagram,filters not showing up i hope this was,helpful and don't forget to subscribe

welcome back to the channel in today's,video i'm going to show you guys how to,fix some instagram filters not working,i'm just gonna go over a couple reasons,why your instagram filters might not be,working or they might not be showing for,you,uh but they could be showing for someone,else uh so obviously to go over a couple,different ways with you so i'm just,gonna head over to instagram really,quick,and if you notice for example that when,you go on your instagram and you just,click on the plus symbol at the bottom,if you notice that there's no filters,like there is here for me,sometimes in some people's instagram,this will bring up filters for me it's,not right now,so another way you could go get your,filters if you click on cancel,is if you go over to your story instead,of starting a new video or post with,that if you just go over to your story,or just click on the camera on the top,left,you'll notice that you'll get more,options than you would of any other way,so just like this right here if i go to,my,camera button and then you'll see i have,all my filters here as well,whereas before i did not uh so this is,one way that you can go and check to see,if,uh your filters will show up or maybe,some will show up that didn't before,so that's one way that you guys could,take a look another way that i recommend,you guys taking a look at your filters,not working,or trying to fix them is if you go over,to your settings you just want to go,over to storage,and we're all we're going to do is clear,the cache for uh instagram,just so it opens up any corrupted files,or anything like that just to clean the,application up to see if that's causing,anything in the back,round of the application so i have to do,is go to your iphone storage,and then you want to go over to,instagram and then just click on offload,app,and offload so this is going to delete,uh some of the application files and,keep your documents,data on board so once it's offloaded you,just want to click on reinstall app,and that's going to put everything back,but a fresh version of it so,if there's any corrupted files or,anything like that causing some of your,filters to not appear for you,this will fix it right here so we're,going to give this a couple seconds to,re-upload it should only take about,maybe 15-20 seconds,max and once it's done it'll just say,offload app again so you can exit out of,here and head back over to instagram,and then you can go ahead and take a,look and see if your filters are now,showing up,uh worst case scenario is they're still,not so another thing that you guys can,consider as well,is some filters i have learned are just,available for some certain regions so,depending on where you are in the world,there's gonna be some filters that are,just not available to you unfortunately,uh so i found that the us the uk and,canada have access to a lot of filters,so if you're in countries like india,pakistan really anywhere in asia,or vice versa if you're in uh like the,us or canada or the uk,uh same thing for indie impacts and i've,noticed they have their own,kind of filters as well it's kind of,like all the asian countries out there,in the world they have their different,kind of filters,just because there's a different niche,market for different areas around the,world,so if you want to get access to some of,the photos that you see other people,have,you could try using a vpn and basically,putting yourself in that location just,to see what filters are available to,them,so vpn wise i do recommend purevpn uh,they're really really good vpn service,they're,pretty cheap and they're very very,reliable they will allow you to switch,locations so you're able to,get new filters from other areas that's,just available through your app store,and there's also a link in the,description to sign up with a discount,so if you're interested with that go,check that out,and you'll be able to get purevpn and,change locations for more filters,otherwise that's really all the uh,things i've learned from looking up and,researching this topic,if your filters are still not working be,sure to leave a comment down below i'll,try to help you guys out however i can,uh but i also hope i was able to give,you guys some option at least if this,was helpful to you be sure to click,like on the video and subscribe for more,thanks for watching,you

sad,when your filter is not working on your,followers devices or just,other users of instagram devices and i,will tell you some ways,how to solve it so let's go firstly i,want to tell you how to fix this issue,as a user,what you can do firstly check your,internet connection maybe your wifi is,not working well maybe your mobile,network is not working well so,before starting panicking just check,whether your internet is working,perfectly,and the next one thing that you can do,you can just restart your app because,recently i have uploaded my new filter,and it got approved by,facebook and i just wanted to check it,and i open instagram and i see that this,filter is not supported on my device,but i have iphone 11 with lots of memory,and i'm like why why and i started,panicking a little bit because it just,weird and then i just restarted,instagram and it worked perfectly,so before start panicking just,just restart your app and i know that,for android users in order to restart,the app you need to go to settings and,click the button for stop and then,restart it again,so then what you can do you can check,for updates,and maybe your instagram version is not,up to date so that is why the filter is,not working so,you can update your app and if update is,not working or maybe it's not available,you can uninstall and reinstall the app,and also in order,to enhance the possibility of filter,working on your phone you can,you install the instagram app then,restart your phone,and then install it again and i hope it,will work,and the last thing you can do you can,clean up the app cache and also your,phone,storage because each filter requires,some amount of storage,if you don't have enough storage on your,phone the filter just simply won't,be loaded to your phone so,this is why some filters not working,just check,whether you have enough memory and,mainly if you have enough memory but,maybe this memory is occupied by basic,processes of your phone,so you can just clean up some extra,memory,and check whether the filter will work,for you and now i want to tell you more,precisely about the memory for,creators because in spark ar studio we,can manipulate the size of your filter,we can make it smaller,we can make it to occupy less memory on,user's devices,and now we'll show you how to do that so,in order to show you how we can,manipulate the size of your filter,let's open spark pr studio and just go,and see everything first of all you can,go to help,and search for asset summary,this is your old assets and here you can,see,how much memory each asset requires,and the total memory required so,here you can see that my whole project,for ios for android and older android,is about 666.606 kilobytes,so we can reduce the size usually i tell,you that when we upload new textures to,spark a yar,i would recommend you to click no,compression button because this way the,quality will be higher,but if your filter is not working on,some devices,you can click that button and actually,manipulate,the size so let's see oh for example,let's open this blush you see that,it is 50 kilobytes,50 50 50 or so if we don't click no,compression,you see that it reduced just it's 28,15 and 12. so the size is really small,now and also,when there is compression look we can go,to project,edit properties and here is compression,and when the quality is 100 actually,your textures are not compressed,they are the original size so let's see,100 percent so now you see that blush is,again,50.8 but if we put,for example 70 percent,now this is 28 the size is reduced,almost twice,standard actually is 75,here always like default is 75 percent,of compression,so look we can go to blush here we can,click ios,now it's passed through we can choose,png,you see now it's only 20 for ios,and also quality you can choose lowest,20 highest 15,so let's just choose medium and also,if you choose format not png but oh my,god this is only one kilobyte,it's super small if you choose pass,through,it's 15 if you choose automatic,it's 27 so let's,leave png and also we go to android,and look here if we choose png is 20,and we go to older androids choose png,is 20. we can choose gphg it's only one,kilobyte because you know instagram,filters they work extremely bad on older,androids,so the lower is size the higher is,possibility that it will actually,work on older androids so,you can choose gpsg and just if you have,an android phone you can test it how it,will work because unfortunately i don't,have an,android phone to test it so let's leave,png and now you see that the
